What do you hate most about your parents?

Nothing because as I grow older, I realize that the way they treat me reflects off of whether or not I treat and respect them well. It's a balance between them respecting you and you respecting them and I don't really disrupt the balance that often.

Why do you need to stay up past 4:30 AM? That's extremely late. I don't think that is something that a parent should let you be able to do anyways, but that is just me. Like I'm 16 years old and if I asked my mom to stay up that late, she would be like: "hell no."

 

Im going to be honest here, I really just don't like my parents.

 

They think my live only exist out of school and school is the only important thing in live. I'm not only made out of homework.

 

They're helping you with that one...

 

But the latest I've EVER been awake without sleeping is six thirty AM, at a sleepover. And they won't let me move my PC into my room so I can't do it behind their backs. Jk, I wouldn't. But still.

 

Well... you do need a limit to go to sleep. Going to sleep at 6:30 isn't okay ever. It completely messes with your mind and you're extremely tired the next day. You might think staying up gives you more time on the computer, but it just makes you more tired the next day when you could be spending your free time on the computer.

 

I spend all my time on the computer, no matter how tired I am, so.

I don't have a high level of body fat and I don't smoke. Also, if it's late at night I won't eat. So... Yeah.

 

legit same. I am not going to reveal a huge secret about me but, it's weird.

 

It's funny cause it would always either be my dad or my mom scolding me ,soooooo either way is bad but my dad is the scariest :c but still love them of course

 

There are some times that my parents make me angry, but I know that they'll always love me and hope for the best for me. Even when I'm mad at them, I know it's my fault because I didn't do something they asked me to, therefore they will punish me. I may not like the punishment, and I have a right to be angry, but I don't have the right to blame them. The only thing that does not make sense to me is the religion I am choosing. I am strongly thinking of converting to Islam, however both my parents forbid it. Despite this, my parents are nearly perfect, and that's basically all that matters. My mother provides food and the ability to go to school for me, and my dad provides me with sports such as going to the gym once in a while or TaeKwonDo, while he also prepares me for my future job I am taking in 2 years. Your parents love you and you shouldn't hate them for doing their job as a parent.

Me: "I'm 14, not 10!"
Mum: "Just go to bed."

Dad: He exagerates heaps.
"I TOLD YOU TO DO THE DISHES 2 HOURS AGO!"
"Dad, that was 5 minutes."

 

I actually don't hate anything about my parents.

 

When I forget to make myself dinner, they just tell me to buy some food at the nearby grocery store.

Some of you (As in people who stayed here with me for a long tine) knows that I have an abusive father right?

I do hate my father but there are times when I loved him, times when he actually cared about family. I only hate his abusiveness and his good acting skills on being a "good father" to my grandparents. But that's good because he doesn't go into my privacy.

When it comes to my mom, it's another story. She respects my privacy but she'll go through it when I did something bad through the internet, she'll sense evil in me by simply looking at my face. And she'll be like "Son, I know what you did earlier" but I can outsmart her pyschological sense by my own tricks on sleeve.
I also kind-of hate the "talks" with her which most of them were me getting into trouble but she didn't let me talk or defend myself, because most of these troubles happened for a very.. VERY good reason. It's just my mother doesn't give me a chance to defend myself, but still.. She's a good mother.

(My parents aren't those shouting or strict types, more of a leading their children with free will to a good path of life with the use of their knowledge in their own lives before)

 

Jee, I hate my parents, they just gave me everything I could ever have at this moment, heck I wouldn't even be here if it wasn't for them, giving me life... how pathetic of them.

In case you didn't understand, that was joke. Value what your parents give you, some people don't really have a reason to dislike their parents.. But like all parents say: ''When you're my age, you'll understand''; This doesn't go out to people who have legit reasons to dislike their parents.

 

This thread isn't about hating our parents, it's about hating something they do, and almost none of us said that they do dislike their parents.

 

I didn't say either that people are saying they hate their parents nor that this thread was about hating parents. Re-read what I typed, this is a general thing, not targetting at anyone. That's why I used the words ''some people''.
