I love the theme of the map, it makes me feel like I'm actually in a jungle themed area. I also love all the detail with the leaves and so on and so forth.

I think this should be accepted! +1

 

Maybe try making the surrounding rock formations a bit taller and extend them outward, then plant trees on the tops to give more of an "enclosed" feeling.

Is it just me or did I start a trend of Sumo maps...?

 

I like it, but I'd also like to see it without a texture pack on. Me, not using texture packs, feel like the biggest impact this map would have would be if you showcased it with and without a texture pack. Otherwise, it's a great map; well built and thought of!

I added the higher mountains, but it seems to look worse when added. My build team just likes the open look better.

 

They just take less time.

Also, I like everything but the platform. Just the flatness and the design.

 

Same, he kinda mixed things to create a jungle/beach theme.

Sorry for the being the rude person, but I think this map is a bit too small. When you look at the distance between the platform, and the borders that surround it, it is a bit too small. If we want players to wait at the bottom of the map, then it wouldn't work. Players would get hit onto the border, and could possibly have a chance of re-entering the platform through uses of hack clients. If you want to prevent that, then you have to make the borders a bit bigger. Other than that, the map is well detailed, and has a good theme to it however this theme is getting way to repeated through the latest map submissions. Hopefully this helps!

 

I don't see how an illegal modded client can help someone get back up.

 

Look at the distance between the platform and the border. If a person had an illegal client, they would easily use the fly command to rejoin the game. If my advice makes no sense to you, then I am sorry for wasting your time since all I wanted to do was suggest. Now its up to you to either check it or just ignore my advice completely. Im supporting both ways ;)

 

If you attempt to use the fly command on an illegal modded client on this server, the anti-cheat will lag you back. You can only fly up a few blocks, then you will get lagged back to the ground. You cannot really move in other directions.

I like how the map has a very bright theme to it, I dislike really dark maps, this one has a very bright color, nice job!
