So, as everyone hopefully knows, we are having a full solar eclipse in the United States. How does everyone plan to watch the eclipse? I personally have no idea what I'm gonna do, as I don't have any glasses to watch it with.
I'm gonna try to catch the partial eclipse or what I can see of it and then watch a better view of it on youtube or something.
I'm going to be down the shore for the eclipse so I'm sure I'll have a nice view lol and its two days before my birthday O:
Where I am from its about a 90% solar eclipse, so hopefully I will just go outside and see it. Kinda bummed that im not in the total eclipse area but at least I can see something.
Yea same, I'm Northeast and can't get the whole thing Nonetheless I'm going to an observatory for free glasses now lol
@Heatdude Da Waffle will have a nice view, while I will be having 85-90% view. smh heat whenever you log in
for those of you who want more info on this https://www.timeanddate.com/eclipse/map/2017-august-21 I'll be getting off work when it hits so I will get to see it!
95% view from my city. If I didn't have class today, I would be driving two hours to the line of totality. Shame.
Saw it, drove from Wisconsin to Tennessee to see this thing. Witnessed the day turn to night in the matter of 10 minutes. I was in the path of Totality (100% coverage) and oh my god.. it was so beautiful when it happened. Something you just can't describe because it was breathtaking.
Dang, wish I could see it like that. I have some friends who bought the glasses and drove down to DC and said they didn't really see anything.
We got the special glasses to be able to look at the sun and albeit the eclipse not having a major effect on the daylight where I am, it was still a pretty cool thing to experience with my family. We got to see the moon cover the sun and everything :P
