PC VS CONSOLES (Let the flame war begin)

Well, I noticed there wasn't enough drama here, so, I decided to make this thread! PC Vs Consoles

Whats your opinion? What do you think is better?

I think PCs are better in all way, better hardware, software, can be used for more things than a console, and, it can easily be cheaper than a console, granted you build it yourself. (Which is easy)

PC is better because a good PC will last longer than a gen of consoles, and you can keep games via steam, unlike the consoles, which are now bringing limited backwards compatibility. You also get more control with PC, and the option of mods.

 

Pc is just really shit

You beg your parents for a pc

You spend $1000 on a pc and like 200$ on monitors
And 120$ on keyboard and mouse

Just to play a pixelated game

It starts lagging and you beg your parents for a new pc because it's "slow"

I prefer PC, since you don't have to buy a different console for a different game. But, there's also viruses, which can cause your mind to explode, so, yeah. I like playing console, since you can play splitscreen with one of your friends, instead of taking turns on the computer, or watching your friend play. They both have pros and cons, neither is better than the other. <--(imo)

 

Consoles are technically overpriced PCs but with an OS that limits your ability to do stuff.

 

Consoles are better for hipsters who don't want to play Minecraft that is mod-like.

Both consoles and PC have their advantages and disadvantages but this all comes down to opinion in these so called "wars". It's not really a big deal of which is really better... if you like PC, that's fine, if you like a console, also fine. It's about likes, I for one like Consoles rather than PC in my opinion but I'm not going to fight PC users to the death over this because I'm fine if you like PC, just don't be a dick about it... this is all opinion, and you're free to voice your opinions but just don't try to kill each other over something that really in the end changes nothing...

PC vs Consoles is a battle that can't won... only fought...

It depends on the player.
If the player wants to come home, sit on his couch and play a game or two, I think consoles are perfect but that.
The thing is a lot of people take gaming more seriously, like as their biggest hobby or way to spend time, so they generally look for ways to enhance their gameplay, thus creating PC's.

Neither of them suck and each have their own ups and downs but:

That's not true though.
You can buy a steam machine for 500-600 euros and it will outperform consoles + have every function that a normal pc does.

EDIT: You also get to decide how much you want to pay for your peripherals. You can buy a monitor for less than 100 euros and keyboards + mice usually come in bundles and a lot of them are under 20 euros.

 

I prefer old consoles (N64, Gameboy) since they last much longer than the new consoles, but computers have Facebook, IJ&H Forums, slither.io, etc.

So, I like both.

 

I defiantly prefer PC.
