[Parkour] Frozen In Place

    In which minigame/server does the bug occur: Lobby/Parkour.

    Detailed description of bug: After you finish a parkour map, or do /leave, it takes a few seconds for you to be teleported back to the lobby. Once you do get teleported back to the lobby, you get stuck/frozen in place in the spot it teleports you back to. If you try move, it just teleports you back to that spot. It takes 1-5 seconds to actually get out.

    This has been happening for over a month, and it's happening to everyone, not just me. You can watch the spot where people spawn after finishing a map or doing /leave and see it happen for yourselves. Every single Parkour video I've seen during the past month has also shown this happening.

    I can provide a video of this if needed.

    Recently, when I’ve been joining the server or come from another server. It takes me about 10 seconds to move, despite my internet being good. Same applies to when I have to leave a game, takes the same amount of time.

    there doesn't seem to be any TPS problems whatsoever, and other players don't experience any lag while the player waits to get teleported back to spawn. not sure what's causing it

    haven't really touched the lobby much either in the past months besides adding 1.16.4 support.

    i tried changing some configs, tell me if it still happens after the restart

    Can also say coming back from skyblock you get stuck in the /lobby spawn location not only when you exit the parkour. I’m on 1.16.4, previously never happened on 1.16 but when i moved to 1.16.4 it started. Maybe look into this area?

    literally just tested it about 2 seconds ago and the same issue when i went from skyblock to lobby

    I also noticed that the pressure plates in lobby take 1-5 seconds for me to launch me, by the time it launches me I'm pretty much where it launches me to, no clue if it's normal but I just had it now.

    are you sure it was "over a month" and not after skyblock was released

    It was happening before the Skyblock reset. It was briefly mentioned on this thread as well.

    can you type in chat (regular chat, not command) while the lag is happening?

    can you use proxy commands such as /friends or /report while the lag is happening?

    it's not the server thread so it's the netty threads that are lagging, either between spigot and bungee or between bungee and player
