Canada is the way, well at least for me.

If it was in ottawa, man I would totally go.

Some of these are TOTALLY WRONG! Like Paris =...= minecon2012 was hosted there.. Why would they go back there again? That's not fair and including Orlando *facedesk* Also, Canada, Australia, Virginia/Maryland are all awesome places to have minecon at.. IMO

 

This isn't a thing about "Fairness". Mojang chooses where it would be easiest to get a spot business-wise. Most of the gamers in the world don't live in Australia and it's difficult to travel there from most of the rest of the world, so we can rule that out. Paris and Orlando could host MineCon again, hell, London hosted the Olympics 3 times..

 

BUTTT that's the Olympics not Minecon. Also, Mojang does listen to us a lot hell we wanted a sprint button, we got it and we wanted colored glass, we got that now too. Not only that but, more and actually A LOT of gamers are in Australia man and isn't THAT hard to go to..

 

My ideas of were Minecon may or may not be.

Canada
Africa
LIKELY:
United Kingdom, most probably England
Sweden, as Minecraft was created there
Anywhere else in Europe (Except France, as stated above)

This is just what I think it will be, because these places have a large Minecraft community, and Minecon has not been hosted there yet.

Australia is a big gaming area. It's got pretty much the same amount as usa. So....

 

Joey, You just proved my point on where minecon should be. DC, Virginia, and Maryland are one of the most business wise states in the U.S. Also, why would they put minecon somewhere they already had it before? They are trying to get everyone a experience to go to minecon not the exact same people every time.

 

But what about people like me? I cannot afford to go to Minecon, and being in Australia makes that worse. By afford, I mean, if it was held in Sydney, I might not be able to go. If it was in Melbs, then I could. Mojang should focus on reaching more players rather then going to the same every year.
