anime fan - someone who enjoys anime, cool, go ahead, anime is very fun to watch.

otaku - calls themselves by a japanese name (otaku is a word in japanese u lil shits), buys lots of anime merch bc they think they're cool when in reality; if people in japan saw you they would puke
