I'd say less than 5% of people who have jobs are actually "passionate" about their work, the other 95% just do it to pay the bills and survive. Maybe 10% felt passionate when they started their careers, but eventually it just became a job. Those lucky 5% either are working in innovative fields that are creating revolutionary breakthrough technologies that have an impact on the world,
or they are people who enjoy what they do because of some other emotional aspect like helping people or bringing smiles to people's faces, or they like the presence of being around their colleagues, or perhaps they just make a lot of money.
