which i find quite ironic cause his stuff was quite gimmicky and frankly low effort compared to channels like yours (not saying what you were doing wasnt gimmicky but you and harry's videos were actually, yknow, thought out). i personally have much more childhood memories watching other machinima channels than fuckin explodingtnt LOL
i mean yea you guys kinda rode a wave but it also kinda stuck out to me that the only servers mentioned were hive, hypixel and wynncraft, when there were in fact so many more servers that helped revolutionize the industry in mc
i dunno where im tryna go with this or why im even posting this on yr profile but i just find it to be interesting food for thought that people just seem to forget everything you have done unless you were actually the first to do it. youtube is such a punishing landscape man
sure, true. we did "give up" 5 years before him tho and can't always include everyone. someone out there is probably screaming "where is x youtuber and x server?!" and you'll have never heard of them.
of course, i'm not criticizing the guy who made it, i'm just reflecting on the noteworthy information that was chosen
it's a nice vid if you're up for its length. the 2nd half isn't quite as interesting but the early history section really did bring back some cool memories and i enjoyed it quite a bit
