oh yeah I do agree that server needs to be updated, 1.8 is so old now upgrading to at least 1.2.2 and just putting acoombat plugin to keep the old combat system. I guess they will never ever update it to a recent version.
for creative, I think that it should be updated to the latest version for sure. but for the rest of the server, it's not needed/wanted by the pvp community. combat plugins are honestly ass(trust me, I've tried some). I don't think that they're bad versions, it's just not ideal for servers.
skyblock, parkour, and farmking could also be updated to the latest versions as there isn't any pvp involved(skyblock but barely lol). they could really benefit from it.
the only problem I would have with it is switching versions everytime I want to go to the server. since I use 1.8.9 mainly, and a lot of the community does too, we would have to switch to the latest version if we want to play the games.
