After more than a year, when I released Standoff 1.0, the second version of this map is out and this update is big. This map is a remake of Standoff from Black Ops 2. It took me about 20-30 hours to build it all. This update was mainly focused on eliminating the feeling of being trapped inside a map, being in an open flatworld. It bothered me that you could see all the way outside the map, seeing nothing but grassland which is very unrealistic and inaccurate compared to the actual map. So that's what I did. Also I added minor tweaks inside the map since some were inaccurate or just built very badly. A: I decided not to add them except the tanks since cars look rubbish in Minecraft and in my opinion they interfere with the view of the players. Q: Mats, there are 3 tanks in the map. Where is the 3rd one? A: It's not there. Players could easily jump on it and leave the map. Q: Mats, the mountains in the actual map are way further away from the map? A: Yes they are. I decided to pull them a bit closer to the map so people with lower render distance settings could also see them. Q: Why are there iron doors with black wools behind it all over the place? A: The real map has a lot of areas you can't enter, but the doors are still there. So I built them. Here is the download.
