Recently a majority of old staff has resigned. This thread is to discuss that issue, and to say thankyou. The server has been wobbling on popularity whether you admit it or not. Staff on here are dropping left and right. The server, in my opinion wont be able to continue if the rest resign. In no way am I saying that the new staff are bad, some are even close friends. The new staff is fairly good, but the fact that staff are resigning left and right is an issue. Notable Staff Members Recently Resigned. @VictoriaLKXX @Snakehammer19 @Electric_Demon @sadandy @Zackery (One of my best friends.) @MeatBoy0 @Lethalities @n00bhouse @Jit If I missed any please comment. I'd like each of the people that are tagged to give us a reason so we can find out what is happening.
This thread is very stupid in my opinion. If you want these people to tell you why they resigned, ask them personally instead of putting them on the spot in a thread.
This is also to say thankyou to them and to adress the issue, and by the way, if you dont like the thread you dont need to reply,, just saying.
I popped in and I saw this :o I appreciate the thanks :) and I completely agree with you, the server is dropping in popularity, but that's normal, things die out, soon, minecraft is going to be old, and no one is going to play it, nothing we can actually stop.
In no way am i saying its the servers fault. im saying that the staff leaving isnt helping the server.
It's definitley tough sometimes to see some close friends resign/leave the community, some of the resignated players left a great leadership mark on the server though. I'm sure a new generation will do the same.
Basically what has happened is that our staff team has been almost one hundred percent cycled out within the past year. In the past year, the only common Mod+ is @Netherr, everyone else is different. Because of mass resignations in September/October 2016, new staff members had no example to follow and only had each other which resulted in more unfair punishments than normal and the staff team needed guidance. As of today, things are getting better, but being a staff member is not as much of an honour today as it was a year ago because the community is losing popularity. There have also been cases of staff members resigning and re-applying later (I'm guilty of that too), so certain staff don't really consider the consequences of resignation and make "heat-of-the-moment" decisions and eventually end up coming back later on. There was no intent to discredit or humiliate anyone in this post, I'm just trying to prove a point.
aight calm down fams If you don't like these threads, then ignore them. It's as simple as that; no need to go out of your way to make someone feel down about their-selves because of something that makes you Let them be them, and let yourself be you. Anyhow, Resignation is a touchy subject with this community. It really is lol However, it is something inevitable. No one on the staff team is going to be here forever. Everyone's going to eventually resign, or do something stupid af and get their-selves demoted. It's how things work in real life, and in this community. I do kinda agree tho that there is a whole lot of these threads, but hey, if it's what y'all want to do then g-g to you guys taking the time out of your day to do this. It's overall a nice thing to do because I know most of the time the decision to resign is not an easy one to make, because of many different reasons.
The reason why my resignation was overlooked was because I did not advertise it. I did not ever make a thread, I did not ever make a scene out of it. i never got a notification for this thread rip I resigned because it was my time to go. I didn't dislike anyone, I didn't dislike how it was run, I was treated beautifully. I simply lost time and interest and I knew that without either of these things, being mod would not come. I had fantastic help, and the server's staff were some of the most respectful people I know. So in short, lack of interest/time.
