^Parkour^ MAGIC: The Map (CANCELLED)

MAGIC: The Map
(Before I Begin) Brief Description:
Magic is a medim sized map that requires the player to face multiple levels of conquest. This map does not use any redstone or pistons; however, it is REQUIRED that it is added during 1.9.x+ due to the PurPur blocks (and possibly others) in the beginning. This is not a puzzle, however, there are small easter eggs hidden throughout the map that the player CAN access. (Signs, Floating Islands, Witch Huts, etc.) They will be restricted between boundaries and cannot cheat on this map. (Tested, all though it may seem so, it is impossible.)

Parkour.
Description of the map:
The map starts off easy, giving the player simple choices (left or right) which both are the same outcome and difficulty. It progresses to get harder as you go along. (CURRENTLY: 2.3/4 of the maps layout is done) This includes harder choices and consequences for falling; but it also takes a comedic approach. The map won't punish you for falling (depends where), but instead hidden signs (or obvious signs) will be scattered around the map for the player to see.
I think it would be nice to see a (an easy one) Puzzle/Parkour map. Although there isn't much of a puzzle; it is just left or right or up and down, it is nice to see what the player will do in situations,
This should be pretty difficult for younger players of Minecraft (or in general). Average rating is:

Its hard to say if it's good or not.. as there isn't much to see. But I hope that when it's completed, it looks great! Good Luck!

 

Could you show us the inside of the parkour?

 

I think that'll happen when the parkour is 100% completed.

 

I could add a spoiler if you would like, it is just I didn't want to show you because it would show some beta testing while I used world edit that I would take out at the end. Also, I would have to get my shaders on to make it look good.

RECENT CHANGES TO MAP
- Dragon; has been moved up ~12 blocks to give room for the castle
- PurPur blocks MAY be replaced due to 1.8.
- NEW Emperial Build Team is now working on the project.

Things to consider:

1. Pretty sure you are not allowed to include any forms of easter eggs on created maps for the servers, especially hubs.
2. Unfortunately, if you were to submit this on completion of making the map, it would be denied as this server is not entirely 1.9 compatible at the given moment, so therefore you could maybe change it to purple clay for instance.
3. Can't really say much about the build as the only screenshot you have shown is off a front structure including no factors of parkour.

But on the other note, I would like to see this map when it's done. The dragon statue sounds like it would give off good vibes with the theme being 'Magic'. Keep up the work on the map, looking forward to seeing more screenshots and spoilers!

 

I'll be releasing one of the beginning soon! The thread will be updated in the screenshot section for it. I was also hoping that this map would be added when 1.8 is no longer playable but I can totally switch it to purple clay. Thanks for the help!

Well, you cancelled it already. The point of what Im saying, think about it immediately before posting the preview or anything. The result you spent your time this for nothing, I'm sorry but in my option, i wont do that because the point of map submission is to post the final result of everybody's project. IN MY WAY.

 

I was being pressured into putting this map out there before it was released.
Yes, I understand of course. I am going to lock it in a bit. My thread in General Discussion talks about why it was cancelled. :)
