Minecraft MINECRAFT 1.8 BREAKING NEWS #3

Hey guys, I'm galladepow, and this is my third MC news issue thread in which I really do hope to discuss with you guys the future updates of our game, Minecraft. I did this before for the 1.6 and 1.7 update, talking about the new horses, secret settings...

So now, im making a new thread talking about the 1.8 UPDATE!! Which will hopefully come out before the end of summer. So from this update, so far, we know guardian mobs are now in the game (they protect an underwater temple), we also know rabbits are 'hopping' their way into minecraft... but what really made me excited to share with you guys is the following news...:

1.)
NO MORE LAG !!!! :D
In the upcoming 1.8 update, the people in Mojang have really worked on boosting performance, and now, it seems, a good computer can get as much fps as 2000 fps! Which means, a low-end computer should be perfectly able to handle the game at a fps of at least 3 digits (1oo+ to 200+ fps).

--> BANNERS <--
A new decoration block! Works almost like a cape, you can wear it (in your head), you can place it down and, most importantly, it's fully customizable!!
In my opinion, it's a very good addition into a game, and would fit like a glove to factions. Imagine having an offical banner in your faction, which all the members wear... sick.


3.)
NEW RENDER DISTANCE!!
Just like optifine, you can now render your chunks to the 'extreme', loading a space of 32x32 chunks. Pretty huge, looks like this :)

Better fps = thank you Mojang.
The banners are going to be really cool, and would be a nice addition to factions and survival.

 

ikr, finally I'll be able to play mc full res, and experiencing no lag even when using fancy resource packs and pvping.

you dont know that, It hasnt happened yet, Give it time :D

 

There will still be servers, just... small servers and probably less minigames.

But, but... It seems like everyone just completely just forgot about EULA even though some of this is really exciting!

We do know that there will be servers.
They didn't say that they are removing servers... they are just changing the rules.
Anyways, back to topic.

 

Servers can still receive donations, but nothing can be offered in return.
That would remove the concept of a 'donation' and would basically just be selling items.
The EULA says that Mojang doesn't like people making money off of their product.
If you didn't give people items/perks in return for money, it would just be a donation to the server.
That wouldn't be against the EULA.

 

Dang those Fps

 

AI really hope this fixes lag...I get an average 20 fps...

 

Whuts good: the fps boost, 32x32 chunk loading just like optifine, slime blocks, aaaaand banners
