I will show you step by step on how to make an iron generator +
The most efficient Gold, Cow, Sheep, Skeleton, Creeper and Chicken loot farm using spawners for skyblock!

I got bored so yeah... I made this. ;)

    You will need
    • 720 - Solid blocks of any kind
    • 40 - Doors.
    • 44 - Glass.
    • 8 - Water bucket.
    • 1 - Lava bucket.
    • 20 - Villager spawn eggs.
    • 4 - Signs.
    • 4 - Hoppers.
    • 2 - Chest.

Note: Only the Iron generator doesn't need spawners.
If your planning on making the loot farm using spawners.
You will need to buy spawners from the ItsJerryAndHarry online store if you don't have any.
Buying spawners will also give you the /spawner Command.

You will first need to make an Iron generator.
If using the all in one spawner farm you will have to make your generator 25 blocks high
so that the mobs will die from falling.

Start by making a 12x12 platform with a 2x2 hole in the middle
25 blocks from the ground if using spawners.

Then make a 3 block high wall around the top.

Next, you will need 40 doors put around the top.
    [IMG] [IMG]
Then put blocks on top of the doors.
Then place blocks on the inside on the doors.
Make a platform with 2x2 hole.
Next, put glass on top of the blocks.
Then make a box on the side for the villagers.
The purple blocks are the unnecessary blocks needed.
You can replace or remove them.
On the bottom, you can build whatever you like.
However, it's convenient to make a drop tube.
Add hoppers at the bottom and a chest to catch the loot.
Don't forget to add lava and 4 signs to hold it.
It's very important that you do not build above or on the sides of
the generator. Or it will stop working.
You are now done! Iron golems will spawn every 5-10 minutes
but only when you're near it.

    ============================================================================================================================================================
Now for the ALL IN ONE very efficient way of having a Cow, Sheep or Skeleton and Zombiepig farm
    using the same iron generator.

    You will need
    • Iron generator
    • A lot of spawners up to 1 - 8 for best loot machine.
    • The /spawner Command
    • Sticky pistons
    • Grass blocks
    • Redstone repeaters
    • Pressure plates
    • Any kind of block.
Note: You will not get any XP from this type of farm
Only loot. And spawners cannot be mined.
Does not work with Pigs Chickens and Squid
    because they are too short.

To make the Cow and Sheep looter
you will need to assemble the

    Sticky piston
    Grass block
    Redstone repeater
    Pressure plate
    And any kind of block.

On top of your Iron generator.
    As shown here
    [IMG]
You can add more for sheep or cows like this.
The Cows and Sheep will die from falling and burn at the same time.
Loots Wool Leather and Cooked beef.

    ==============================================================================

For gold and bone, you need zombiepigmen and skeleton spawner.
You can place 4 spawners inside the Iron generator.
All you have to do is change the spawners using the /Spawner Command
This also works for spiders and creepers. Not squid or chickens.
Zombie pigmen won't die if there's lava stopping their fall so you will need to remove the lava
    when you need gold.

Iron golems also won't die without lava so make sure to place it when your not using
    zombiepig.

For chicken eggs simple add chickens.

    And that's all!
Phew.. it took a few hours to make all this info. :D
I hope somebody finds it helpful.

    this model still works?
I can get the iron folem farm working but when I make the all in one it doesn't work. the mob spawner doesn't spawn anything

I want to point out that this iron farm design doesn't work that well for some reason on skyblock (trust me I build about 14 in total. Don't ask why). If you use a bigger one such as docm77's iron farm, it seems to work better for me.

Also if you place other blocks such as spawners reduce the spawning rate of iron golems cause they have fewer blocks to spawn on (water doesn't block the spawning area).

You can fix this by building some extra water layers on top of the actual iron farm.

This is a great design, but it has some technical flaws. These won't break any of the farms, but since you're using spawners for this farm, I would recommend using them more efficiently since spawners nowadays are quite expensive.

It works fine for me iron golems spawn every 5 mins with or without spawners. It's only when I build over the generator will it stop working and all iron golems will stop spawning. But things might have changed or will change to make generators stop or start working weirdly.

Iron farms need sky access for their doors to be registered. So that might be it.

Yup. also spawners do not stop iron golems from spawning since 90% of the time they spawn on top layer where spawners are not in the way.
at least from what I've seen.

Well, you still have the problem of doors letting light pass through which affects the spawning rates of hostile mobs.

Actually depending on what doors you use they don't seem to let any light pass except for the 2x2 hole at the top which doesn't make a huge difference as of spawning rates. Try waiting for night to see if it works better.

Doors do let light pass through.

My other point was that you should use spawners to their fullest extent cause they are so expensive, now they work max 50% (only night).
