Warning! This is my opinion. Don't get your Trainwreck in a magnifying glass So it's been a while since I last spread negativity on these forums... Meanwhile @Venom_Snake is doing rants on general things, I'll ruin some minor things... cuz I'm a pussy. Okay, if you're a fan of wrestling and thinking that I'm that other idiot who thinks that wrestling is fake well, you're in the wrong my friend. So keep reading u twat. So wrestling... from what I can tell it's like an arena where people beat the fuck out of each other for the sake of entertaining the world who are watching this. So I guess it's entertainment that entertains the audience with extremely painful fights that are going on in the ring. Well, that's fantastic. I mean when there's a huge and heavy man jumping on the other man's neck to simply hurt him, people cheer. You fucking monste- I mean violence is entertaining, it's quite something. Like in movies or video games, in most of them there is violence going on but at least there's something else to it. There are three things that could happen during a wrestling match: 1- The wrestlers insult each other and spit at each other 2- The beat-up session that is staged to make it more entertaining...? 3- The wrestlers making the audience cheer for him after he had successfully punched a guy What am I getting out of it? It's like the superhero movies, the only reason it exists is to make you see people in colorful costumes beat up other people in colorful costumes. Not much context needed, just fight. And it's the reason I hate both the SH movies (Except a few obviously) and wrestling. The funniest thing is, the wrestling could be easily compared with something like gladiatorial games. The only real difference is the fact that in gladiatorial games you fight to death and in wrestling you fight till one of the wrestlers is knocked out OR dead. What? Yeah, dead. Remember when I mentioned that I'm not saying wrestling is fake, well, it clearly isn't, cause some wrestlers die on the ring. Most of those deaths are obviously "accidental"... Urgh... I mean, what result do you expect when YOU DO A FUCKING RKO TO AN ANOTHER PERSON?! When you hit someone's face hard against the floor, what results do you expect? I guess you might've thought that he would just be knocked out... K... (From what TheRealSmg told me, WWE is now kinda less aggressive than it was so... K) Did I mention the younger audience watching this? Oh, okay. So when you're a mindless little Timmy who doesn't know any better and sees two people beating the fuck out of each other and people, adults included, cheering from outside. What will you think? That it's good to beat the fuck out of people! Doing RKOs on your little brother is good! Jumping on your dad's neck is good! Nice influence you have on kids WWE, best entertainment ever. So you can react two different ways, one, you agree with some things I said or two, disagree and go full retarded against me, which is fine if it's to correct me but if it's hating me for having a different thought on a thing then... okay. My opinion, don't have to agree with it. But I think wrestling isn't the best thing ever so... Get over it. So this is what I think of wrestling, what are your thoughts? Do you think that what I said is legitimate or that I should get RKO'd immediately just for even thinking that? Either way, tell me your opinion below. Also if you're bored, you can post gifs of the most aggressive moments in WWE. Thanks for reading and don't die. :P
Aight, I just want to reply for the sake of it xD (and for peeps to know how I feel about this topic) First of all, there have been deaths in the ring. WWE has only had a couple (R.I.P Owen Hart, you will always be missed). But for real. So many people say that wrestling is fake. Like, come on. Movies are fake, stunts in movies are fake (because of the script and stunt double). I hope you get where I'm coming from. Wrestling is not fake. It's scripted. Those two words can be taken as similar, but they really aren't. (got some info of this quote from the man himself, Chris Jericho.) In fact, I'll quote what Jericho said below me: (Chris Jericho says that) That basically sums up why it isn't fake. But, here comes another point. I hate to say it, but wrestling is pre determined. The matches are pre-determined. If they weren't, people like Cesaro, Zayn, Owens, Ambrose, Styles, etc would be multi time world champs by now. (Most of these men have won world championships, but none have won the wwe title). The main argument I see people going with about wrestling is that it's scripted. Sure, it's scripted, but it ain't gosh dang fake. Don't believe me, I'll post some pictures in a spoiler of what wrestlers look like after/during an 'extreme' match. Spoiler: Could be defined as graphic, look at your own choice. Yes, ^ is a picture of Chris Jericho with thumbtacks inserted into his skin after having an extreme match with Dean Ambrose at Extreme Rules 2016. Real blood btw^ I hope you understand the term 'fake' and how it doesn't apply to wrestling. Especially WWE. Also, here's some videos if you still don't believe me. ^^^ (all videos aren't mine and go to their respective owners, including pictures) I also want to address kids watching this show. I got to admit, the pictures/videos I provided are from a long time ago (more than 5 years ago at the least). WWE has changed so much, and it is now in an era we like to call the 'PG' era. Thus, kids are watching. But, trust me. I doubt that a lot of kids would be watching this back in the 'Attitude Era'. In conclusion, it isn't fake. It's really not. These wrestlers always put their bodies on the line for our entertainment. It just irks me when people call it fake when they don't really know the whole story.
Oh, wrestling.. This is one of the things in my life that kind-of influenced me. Like when I first started watching it, I thought it was real (I was 8 years old in that time) because it's so entertaining. It's like watching a story of someone going through ups and downs, just like boxing (I think). With the cool moves with cool names they do to beat each other out, like a Powerbomb (I prefer the Batista Bomb because Batista may or may not be one of my favorite wrestlers since he's one of the last wrestlers that was a part of the Aggressive Era) or Spear. Which made me a little reckless older brother because I had wrestling "matches" on my bed against my little brother, trying out wrestling moves which of course.. Caused a lot of pain, and that's how I follow the advertisement of "Don't try this at home" xD But of course, it didn't influenced me. It influenced my classmates, which we basically had this area at the cafeteria as a ring and they would just wrestle it out until someone pins or gets out of the boundary of the area (Which is also adds real wrestling to the mix) and I would act as a referee all the time. (Because bullied kids stuff) But one day, I accidentally pushed this one kid. Who is less half of my height, with all of his pride. He literally RKO'D me without a warning. I'm not kidding, and it was the second most painful thing I've felt in my entire life (For this moment). The reason would be that, 1. The floor is concrete, not that foam padding on the ring. 2. A RKO is like a person grabbing by the head, making your face splat on the floor. 3. The pain I felt is so bad, I felt my whole face being punched. (And the aftermath was my face being all red.) 4. It's like a forced flop to the floor, which makes your whole body feel the pain as well. 5. I was a crybaby That day made me realized Wrestling is totally real, I didn't cared people saying it was fake and stuff. Because I know how painful the moves are, but it doesn't stop me from knowing it's scripted. Which kind-of breaks my heart (As a kid) but I understand it as a show in Jericho's term. A show that people can show off their talent to everyone, and their hard work for what they loved. My thoughts for it? It's just a show that make us cheer, boo, angry, happy, and sad about the things in the ring whether it's scripted or unscripted. As for know, it's kind-of okay at moment. Also,
