Why was the death animation removed?

so ive been playing for like a month now and after the update i see that i death animation has been removed. I was just wondering why that was removed

 

sometimes when you kill somebody you can take damage after they die, leaving you as a 2 hit instead of full health. Also arrows would hit “dead” bodies. Right after they died they still had a hit box that arrows could hit, preventing you from shooting through them. Really annoying when shooting into a big group of people.
