So, I think everyone knows about the protest in Hong Kong. But if you don't know what's happening / don't understand, here's a picture from Tumblr to fully explain the protest. Explains it all. And yes, I live in Hong Kong. I don't need smoke bombs, tear gas and rubber bullets to attack my home. Spread the news.
Are you allowed to leave your home and go to school and do stuff or do you just stay home? o_o wow, im actually working on an essay at the moment and there is a paragraph about hong kongs economy.
Depends on the district we're in. Right now the district I'm in is safe to go outside. Even my school. Some people in Central, won't be able to go to school because of the protest.
Well the topic itself originally didn't grab my interest so much. Trying to make Rila safe. (Rila follow Katniss k)
Yes, I know. However, I know that they're joking about Districts, nothing to do with the related topic. Also, don't you find it ironic that we're being off topic in the Off-topic section...?
50/50 on each side. Why? The protest is affecting the economy. The police uses force with rubber bullets, smoke bombs, pepper sprays, etc. It was a peaceful protest.
"50/50" Yeah, I know they're trying to get the government's attention, but the government either could've answered their open letter. Are they just going to stand there and watch? But still, it's causing more protests in other places now, because of the economy. At this rate, Hong Kong could lose business.
rilaa.. so what happened in hongkong.. so there are a bunch of people who are protesting to gain their right back they make a huge demo in front of a mall but the police there help the mall owner and for people who come to demo will be hit by a liquid that can make your eyes hurt kind of like pepper spray so many of people protest....
