Ok maybe some saw the news. There was a massive security hole at mojang or better at some service they used from amazon. Only to make it short: If you haven't change your password there is a chance your minecraft login is stolen. It's still not said something got stolen but only because these sort of hack leaves no trace. Offical news: https://mojang.com/2014/04/heartbleed/ by kris on April 9, 2014 Two days ago a serious vulnerability (that’s been named “Heartbleed”) in the popular cryptographic software OpenSSL was made public. This weakness could potentially be exploited to steal information, such as login information, that normally would be protected by encryption. This software is used by roughly two thirds of the internet so a lot of services were or are at risk of being affected. Explanation (most simple I found): Other affected websites. Yahoo Mail Facebook.com paypal.com ebay.com Some netbanking services etc
Login to minecraft.net with your username and password then click on https://minecraft.net/profile/password
i'm not that worried, minecraft accounts are worthless to hack if the victim never visited the server. and the chances of your account being chosen is more than 1/10,000,000. but still don't get discouraged, they may be looking for you...... so change it. and if im wrong about what I said, correct me because this hacking stuff confuses me
I've been needing to change my password for a while (Already 11 months since the last change o.o), and heartbleed just gave me a reason to not be too lazy to do it. New password is so much moar secure than the last one :D
I think Android phones are also affected by Heartbleed, I believe, well at least that's what I heard.. I own an Android so I'm worried. xd
