So the season 7 premier of The Walking Dead came out yesterday for me as I live in the UK, and honestly I can't believe or accept it. The ending of season 6 was a cliffhanger, as a character named Negan killed one of the main characters with a baseball bat that has babrbed wire wrapped round it, the bat's name is Lucille. However, we didn't know who he killed. In the first episode of season 7, we found out who got killed. The first person to get their head brutally smashed in by Lucille, was a man named Abraham Ford. He was a Sargent in the army before the zombie apocalypse that everyone is trying to survive in. He was an amazing character, he was so strong and brave, he would do anything to protect the group he was in, anything to keep them safe. He joined in season 4 with his girlfriend at the time Rosita and who he thought was a scientist Eugene. Even though he joined later in the show, it felt like he had been there since the beginning, he didn't deserve to die, he was a nice man who didn't do anything wrong. Yes, his death was obligatory for Negan as he needed a sacrifice since Rick's group killed some of his men, however they did it so the people at the Hilltop would give them food, but Abraham didn't deserve to die. He had a new found girlfriend named Sasha, a community, people who cared about him, people to care for, yet it all went. Additionally, he became a main character very quickly as lots of people loved him, he was loyal to his friends and the group, smart, he was a n amazing character, and it is heart shattering to see him gone. He had some of the best quotes as well, here are some of them: "Mother dick!" "Rick knows every fine grain of said shit." "Who's Deanna?" "Loose ends make my ass itch." "Why are dingleberries brown? It's the way shit is." "Bitch nuts." And the last thing that Abraham ever said was: "Suck my nuts." RIP Sgt. Abraham Ford. The second person to get killed was a man named Glenn Rhee. Glenn had been a part of the show since season 1, and all through the show he has been loving, caring, generally optimistic and a beam of hope for all those around him, he was killed. He had a wife named Maggie who had lost her whole family, her on screen losses were her father Hershel, her sister Beth, her mother and in the end - Glenn. He also had an unborn child on the way, and it is so sad that he will never get to see his baby, and his baby will never get to see him. Glenn was also one of the Atlanta 5, a.k.a the people who are still alive from season 1, so he was a core character for the show, an anchor realistically. It is now The Atlanta 4, and I know that breaks so many people's hearts as well as my own. He was happy, violent if needed, he still had his humanity in some ways as he didn't want to kill another human, even though he eventually had to. Also, he was fast, smart, protecting, loyal and a survivor just like Abraham and all the others. Glenn was a good person, he didn't deserve to die, and unlike Abe's his wasn't obligatory, Negan just killed him as another character punched him to protect Rosita. So RIP Glenn Rhee. Goodbye Abraham Ford and Glenn Rhee, may you both rest in peace.
I don't like horror shows/movies, the horror game I like is.. Five Night's At Freddy's Ha. Fooled you.
Sorry, I just thought with it being over basically every social media out there by now that most people would know. I didn't think about the people who had just recently started watching the show or didn't know. But with how long the episodes are and how many season there are, you still have a lot of time to love the characters, so make sure you enjoy them surviving and generally being happy! :), Sorry again. Thank you, I should have done it in the first place. Sorry. :)
