    I:I WELCOME I:I
    Introduction
    This is "The Ultimate Guide to NOT Suck at Spleef"
    Here I'm covering all the tips, tricks and strategies that you see all the pro's use in the arena. If your reading this your most likely a noob at spleef, I'm referring to it as 'noob' for now but don't worry. If you can read this thread you most likely wont be a noob for much longer, if you can try hard enough in the arena. If you enjoy spleef like me, and many other people, but need a head-start on actually winning your match's, then I guarantee this thread can help. Also i'm doing this for the community and well-being of spleef, I want to grow the community of spleef and help people (also for the Spleef Tournament nominee's who are feeling doubtful of their skills at this time)
    Starting
    Obviously you know the objective of spleef already. But how do you really end up being the last person? It will all come back on your "Gameplay". How you do things, when you do them, when you don't do them, whether your Offensive/Defensive. Everybody starts off as a noob, but some learn quicker than others. Offense/Defense is extremely important, basically 'offense' is attacking the opponent and 'defense' is defending you/your surroundings from the opponent. For example 'Camping' is an extreme act of defense and is frowned upon in most cases (please don't do it). Try out these two main gameplay's and figure out your style of spleef.
    Tactics/Strategies
    Tactics/Strategies can keep you alive in most games. It's important to have them and without them your pretty much dead in at least 20 seconds. They're not hard to learn and an be easily blended into your gameplay in most circumstances. I can't do straight forward strategies because not everyone plays the EXACT same way.

    TACTICS/STRATEGIES
    ================
    -Running backward's left, or backward's right can get you out of most troubles that clump up at the start
    -Most offensive players will be running around ALOT to kill people, so why not make it hard for them by destroying blocks in their area to give them 'parkour'
    -At the start of most game's it's safe to have your back faced to the walls and drawing 'lines' of spleefed blocks between you and most of the opponents towards the center of the arena
    -Stay away from the center at the start of game's, running to the walls is wiser and safer
    -Killing runners, campers, defensive players at the start is main priority; kill them when they have you and 10 other people to worry about instead of 1v1 versing them at the end ( BE CAUTIOUS )
    SNOWBALLS
    =========
    -When there is a space between you and the opponent and your looking at each other waiting for the move, throwing the snowballs at their feet and jumping onto their area while they're in shock of dodging your snowballs, they're in the vulnerable position and you have a clean kill
    -Campers are trolls, they will do everything to make you angry, when your left 1v1 versing them, saying "Oh damn. No snowballs." will make them see the opportunity to go down to one block to make angry, then you whip out the snowballs and troll the troll xD
    -Donator rank's + get 8 snowball's (watch out)

    Tips
    Tips will be the little things that will set your mind straight to a circumstance. At times they've helped me more than tactics/strategies but it will fluctuate. Most of these Tips you probably know or/have the skill to perform it. But not everyone is the same so that's why they will be put their.
    TIPS
    ===
    -Parkour, parkour, parkour, if you don't have it you wont jump to where you want
    -Accuracy is important
    -Quick sharp movements of the mouse will send opponents into shock when you swipe in-front of them
    -LEARN YOUR PLAYERS AND THEIR GAMPLAY'S! (this way you will predict)
    -FOV: Quake pro
    -Predicting players movement's is extremely critical in spleef
    -Try not to be intimidated (you will end up running and falling)
    -Faster target is a harder target
    -Just accept lagback (everyone gets it, and it happens for a reason)
    -Getting too close to players will get you killed, keep fair distance
    - Learn your perfect spleef angle so you can get that perfect 6 block radius
    -4 block jumps are possible, 5 is not
    -Look at the jump before you take it
    -Keep your center screen always on target, look at your peripheral vision when needed
    -Don't target------}=Dislike
    -Don't camp------}=Dislike
    -Don't backstab--}=Dislike
    -Don't run--------}=Dislike

    Extras/Conclusion

    There is a few more important things that doesn't require skill. Sometimes you can be lagged back by things like FPS or Lagspikes, but everyone gets them in Jerry and Harry Spleef it's quite common. The difference between 60FPS and 400FPS will increase your spleef skill alot more than you think. I got 60FPS -200FPS in spleef with Lagspikes, I then installed optifine and got between 400FPS to 600FPS+. It really does help I recommend getting optifine if you haven't.
    I grew around my community through spleef and I would not have learnt the things I have if it wasn't for them, take some time out to watch how pro's play but remember, everyone fail's whether it's a jump, lag, derpy moment's or anything no one can avoid them. Over time you will grow to be skillful in all aspects throughout spleef, eventually becoming faster and better. If you want it, 'Consistency" is the key.
    HOPEFULLY YOU LEARNT FROM THIS THREAD
