I've noticed for the past years that the server number of players at a time is depleting. It used to be thousands of people on at a time. I honestly think this is because of the original YT channel's fame. When ItsJerry and ItsHarry did Minecraft skits and Machinimas, the fame of their channel increased drastically. If they do the skits and Machinimas again, who knows, their server might gain a lot of fame again! I don't think they should only do Minecraft v. Real Life episodes. (If ItsJerry and ItsHarry see this, that would b great!)
A lot of people are a aware of the sudden decrease in the server's population. Not a huge surprise because of the lack of videos on the main channel. I do think they should be more active on it. Just my opinion, though.
I have seen quite a few threads commenting on this and saying how they shouldn't just do minecraft vs real life episodes. I mean it would be good for other types of videos as well but a lot of people enjoy the series and therefore it has been an ongoing series. If enough people draw attention to this though, jerryandharry may see what the community wants. Good Luck!
The server is not depleting just because of the videos Jerry and harry post. People come and go its how life works. The server imo is getting more popular due to farming. Another thing Jerry and harry post videos out of passion they choose what they want to post and its because they love posting that. Like honestly people say the server is dying but Jerry and harry is still one of the bigger ones lol.
Yeah I agree with this. I didn't elaborate in my earlier post. I think that it shouldn't be minecraft vs real life unless the viewers and the makers are enjoying the series. Also the channel isn't the only source of attraction for the server and as I have posted in earlier threads, farmking has done a great job. It has managed to draw in more players from what I can see. Farmking itself normally has a few hundred on at all times while the smaller games have people actually playing them. I do think personally though that the server needs to be advertised more widely, to get this amazing server more attention.
The amount of players on J&H will not always stay the same. That's just how every Minecraft server works.
tbh, I think the influence of their channel isn't as big on the server as everyone thinks. I got on this server because I saw a youtuber (not itsjerryandharry) play build it and I wanted to play too. Its mostly about the minigames you can play on a server. I think most people will come on the server if they see a ton of youtubers play it, spreading the word. I think the server nailed it with original minigames, like herobrines chamber, agarpvp and minefighters, but also having minigames that make players stay like skyblock and survival. The biggest factor in the decrease of people on the server I think has to do with the people on minecraft in general. Tons of people have left the server because they didn't like minecraft anymore. The golden age of minecraft is pretty much over and I don't think its gonna get back. Of course, with new subscribers to the channel, there is a possibility that those will join the server, but it isn't so big anymore.
I agree with this thread. If they are more active on Youtube then the server could get some new players again.
It's the school year. (At least in America) I can't be bothered to be online for more than an hour a week when school's in.
