[Recommendation] Getting better Proof on SG/Sumo Hackers

Recommendation for SUMO/SG Hacker Reports​

Problem: For staff it's actual hard to judge if someone is really hacking if you only have screenshot's. Because a single screenshot or 2 doesn't really show much what's going on before you wrote the report.​

-Solution: Record your Gameplay-​

Ideas:​

When it comes to recordingsoftware you might found fraps as your first hint people give you.​

But I do not recommend it. Why? It's payware. What this means?​

The free version has some things you don't want:​

*small record limit​

*creates big files​

*you do have to render it to make it smaller​

*you need to install a codec for rendering (h.264, divx)​

So I found Bandicam as a good deal that fits the needs:​

*freeware​

*records 10 minutes in the free version​

*creates smaller files ready to upload​

*no render work​

*no codec needed​

​

What you need:​

How to record, Using bdcam:​

After you installed the programm you get this window​

First thing you want to do is setting the quality in the right format. For this you go to "Video" and then to "Settings" A popup for video and audio will appear.​

Next click on the dropdown at the bits/kbps in the audio section. Lower the amoun to 128. You don't need more to record your gamesound without lag and it's saving filesize.​

Recording​

Minimize bandicam to your taskbar. Don't close it by accident or it wont work​

Then start minecraft.​

​

You will see your fps in the left upper corner in green. What means bdcam is ready to record but not recording.​

To record press F12. You will see now it changed to red. So you'r on-air now :D​

​

To stop recording press F12 again.​

Uploading​

​

To find your recorded video open bandicam from the taskbar and click on "Open" at the General section.​

You will see the recorded videos. You can upload them as-is to youtube. Make sure you set them to not listed in viewer permissions. Don't annoy your regular subscribbers.​
