    .......do you guys not know how to unbind your drop key?

    .......do you silas not know how to use your drop key for a different purpose?
    also rather than making it available to not drop it at all times, instead add a command like /drop so you can enable and disable all drops

    what use do you have for your drop key other than dropping items? elaborate

    it takes under 30 seconds to unbind your q to something really odd, i don't see why would we need to fully disable drops to avoid this

    then just bind it back

    again, we don't need to protect items to save under a minute to change keys. you can even keep the bind and just use that instead! i'm not constantly hitting my equals sign so that could work

    trying to fix a problem with an easy solution with something complicated just makes everything... well, complicated. we don't need to drop protect items; what we need is to be versatile with your keyboard. a very VERY minor inconvenience doesn't need an entire feature added to fix it.
