Piston Flip Glitch

Creative, but probably on other servers where you are able to build
Detailed description of bug:
I was tryna make a piston elevator (), when I got up to placing pistons upwards next to sticky pistons. For some reason when trying to place the pistons next to the sticky pistons, the piston would register upwards for a split second but then glitch out and turn and face another side (depending on where you're standing). I'm not sure if this has already been discovered, and I'm pretty sure it's cause of the server is outdated but you know... that's a thing lol.

Edit: now the pistons are flipping themselves not text to anything else...

Then this is a glitch with minecraft, not a server sided bug.
Glitches like these occur near the worldborder, and also include broken item frames and glitches with some other blocks.
We recommend you make something like this at a more normal co-ordinate.
