Lobby spawn, please vote.

I liked the design of the New Spawn but I don't like how it only has one portal....
Maybe adjust it and make it have multiple portals?

Also with the Old spawn if you choose to keep that could you maybe add paths or something to the portals because currently the plain grass, dirt, cobble, etc. flat area isn't the most aesthetically pleasing floor....

 

I liked the new spawn, in my mind.

If the new spawn would add multiple portals in like the hallways on the right of the big portal, and make the big portal like a door, I would like that.
And maybe on the bottom of the spawn, add more jump pads...?

 

In my opinion, I would love for the old spawn to return. The new spawn is too big. WAY too big. There aren't many 'chill spots' and just one portal, which in my opinion, is not... Flashy, if you know what I'm saying. So, the only issue here, are the size and the lack of portals.

The old one, however, is the right size for the server. It has all the necessary portals, and many many 'chill spots'. However, the parkour could get a little more improved.

To clarify, the entire community got used to the old spawn. It's like our home. We can't let our home to just go. It would take ages for us to get used to the new spawn.

Imo, you guys should compine both spawns.
Keep the same old style. Add portals. Make them big (bigger). Do the"every portal has a theme" thing.
Big spawn, chill n colorful enviroment, everybody's happy.
Love the old spawn.

I would like the old spawn, my only suggestion is add new parkour islands, as the ones we currently have are pretty old....
also new eastereggs would be nice

 

My only issue with the new spawn is that it's too big, and there isn't anything in that huge area. It just seems like an empty map that would be far better used for something as a KitPvP map rather than a server spawn. It just doesn't seem like it was meant to be a hub and rather to be a huge area to PvP in.

New Spawn
If anything, I would suggest adding something more to the newer spawn (if people really want the new one instead of the old one) and give it something for people to go explore around, make it interesting! And most of all, make it so people actually want to be there because that's what the old spawn possessed, not this one.

Old Spawn
Now if the old spawn was kept, there are some things that would need to be done as well. Maybe update it once and awhile.. make it exciting to go around the spawn! People love the old spawn (me including) but it's just the same after a while. If something else was added to it maybe once and a while, people would never want an updated lobby. Maybe come out with some new easter eggs every so often? Or add some more parkour, or something for players to interact with whilst being in the hub.

 

@ItsHarry you already know my opinion about the spawn, but to all those who don't, I think that the old spawn was better than this one. It was colourful, different, it had separated minigame portals which made the server different from others. It had a lot of places to go to and a lot of other small details. It was a welcoming and nice chill place to hang out, make friends etc. I voted for the old spawn on Harry's pole and up here are the reasons why. If it comes that we keep the new spawn I suggest that you guys put the minigames portals back, because I think that that's what most people miss about the old spawn. The new spawn would also need more different parkours. This is what I think everyone would be happy to see, but still this is only my personal opinion.

 

Honestly why not make a new spawn but ask us what we would like in it before you build it like the last time you revamped the spawn

 

Well, I have been waiting for this thread.

I think the new spawn is actually very beautiful and well put together. However, the old spawn for me was a little plain. I think as @TheFireroll said, we should combine both. The old spawn was a little tooooo small for my liking. I think the size of the new spawn but combined with some stuff from the old spawn. I think the new spawn is alot more fun, more things to explore, and alot of afk/chill places. I honestly love looking for things within spawns and the new spawn brought that to Jerry and Harry. The new spawn should have alot more parkours in my opinion. The easter egg hunt is very fun, and finding all the caves and etc. Please take this suggestion to mind.

 

As I said on Willy's thread with the same subject. I really like the new lobby. But I am going to make the decision for the new spawn. The thing is the new lobby needs to have more stuff into it. Easter Eggs are just boring. The new lobby needs like more jump pads and stuff.

This statement here, I don't agree with. Many servers use the same strategy as the one Jerry and Harry have.

I loved the heck out of the old spawn. And I still do. But people need to knoew there is ALWAYS a time for change. This was that time for change, with the new lobby. People need to accept change. And again, I do get why people may prefer the old spawn then the new one, but people need to finally accept this change.

There were a lot of chill spots.. I found like 7 that I liked.
Yeah old spawn was great, but like @TheRealSmg said.. everyone needs to be prepared for a change, even if it is something you don't like.
That's like saying "Oh I moved to a new house, I don't like it but its bigger and more convenient" and then end up moving back to your old house because you liked it better. I loved the new spawn, and now that I know my "chill" spot is going to be removed because it wasn't actually suppose to be there.. is kind of saddening. Honestly, the new spawn was great the way it was, and it shouldn't need to be improved in my eyes. But I guess this is only my opinion, some might agree, people will disagree.. but that's the way opinions work. No one can ever just agree on one thing, or accept change, and we as a community, need to accept change.. it's a must to accept change.

 

The only reason I like the old spawn is because it's less laggy

 

I am going to say im voting for the new spawn, but with a few improvements.

Even though the new spawn looks incredible, what i would like to see is a bit more colorful and wacky things added to it as what we would see in an ItsJerryandHarry video. I want there to be more easter eggs for people to find, and also put some more things around the spawn to make it feel more natural. like more houses, maybe a spot where people can go to chill, And also, make the easter eggs a bit better instead of being really subtle.

So my vote is an improved new Spawn with some oe the improvements we mentioned :)

We should all be able to accept change, and its nice that our server owners are listening to us.
