factions enderpearl bug

the enderpearl bug or glitch is if you spam enderpearls at a wall you can go right through it

in factions this bug is getting abused all day and every day and makeing an unraidable base is impossible makeing factions ALOT harder

this bug should be fixed asap

if it is a problem with minecraft and not the plugin I did not know and I apologise

 

Its a bug with mc, just make a thick wall

 

dude you can make a wall 20 blocks wide and you can still get into a base.
this darn bug is getting abused non stop and needs to be deult with

 

What the old ScoutingLegion did was surround the base with lava, and make it at bedrock. Claim all land around ur fac so its hard to dig right next to the wall. Sure, the tnt will break the blocks before they get to your base, but the lava really helps, because if they try to get in, they will be on fire. :3 (and yes, ScoutingLegion got raided, but that was because of a trick ((happens a lot now :3)) I mean all of this with an obsidian base

 

Jultar, This is getting tiring. We need this to get into bases. It's how it works. Just cause you are gonna get raided doesn't mean you need to get rid of everything that will raid your base ._.

 

Factions is supposed to be hard, and no base is unraidable.

Actually, theoretically what the enderpearl does is tp you far enough into a block so you can throw another one "on the other side", so if you make it thick enough the enderpearl will just hit the block you're inside, and even if you did move forward it would be slow enough that you would die of fall damage before anything.

 

Actually, I'm having a glitch that doesn't allow me to throw an enderpearl at a block that I'm pointing at.

 

Faction made of Obsidian?
Walk away

Faction surrounded in water?
Walk away

Faction made of wood?

 

You can't enderpearl through anything that is 2 blocks....

 

Yes you can.
However, you CANNOT enderpearl past over 4 blocks. That's the rule. But this glitch is not a problem with the server, it's a part on minecraft. J+H even warned about it in the help section in Factions.
By the way, there are a few things you can do. I have my own secrets to avoiding enderpearl glitches... But the most common ways in crafting tables. You can't glitch through crafting tables.
But there shouldn't be unraidable bases, that's the point. No faction should be impossible to raid.
( which is why they should get rid of the either nerf already)

 

Even if you crouch, it messes up the enderpearl glitch (at least, the crouching will).
You would have to destroy the crafting tables first, then get through via an area without crafting tables.

 

That bug been in Minecraft since Enderpearls came out.

What I do is put 1 layer of obsidian then one layer of crafting tables and repeat. :)

 

1st of all you cant fix a bug that isn't from a plugin.
2nd of all wouldn't you rather be able to get into the faction that you wanted to raid? It would be pointless if everyone just had to put a layer of obsidian and no one could come in. I think the glitch is useful. But that's my opinion.
