Solid choise all around. May I ask why you need a 1000w powersupply on that? That's a bit over the top for this system, 750w would have lasted. Hyper212 is a beast D: Only noctura nh-d14 has more cooling on air but it barely fit into a midi :D

Lol I wanted to future proof it so that way I can just keep adding stuff without worrying about power consumption

xD this is futureproof for quad sli gtx 770ti or a single sli with titan black's. Waiting for reviews from the haswell-e series maybe I'm going back to intel. AMD is a disappointment :/

I prefer Windows over Mac mainly for its greater compatibility, but both are good for different things.

Ofc using a VM does kill performance in windows quite a bit, but there's dual booting to fix that.
My icons and dock are hidden because there may or may not be something you don't need to see there.

    My specs:

    CPU: 3.5GHz quad-core Haswell Intel i7
RAM: 8GB 1600MHz DDR3 RAM (Can be upgraded up to 32GB)
GPU: Nvidia GeForce GTX 780M with 4GB GDDR5 VRAM
Storage: 128GB SSD and a 1TB HDD treated as a hybrid drive by the OS

    Minecraft FPS at 1440p: 350-400+
    FPS at 1080p: 460-600+
