Consider this kind of a follow up to the Lucid Dreaming thread. For somebody who doesn't get a whole lot of sleep, I sure do like to make threads about it. ASMR stands for Autonomous Sensory Meridian Response, but despite the long name, all it is is basically a tingling feeling that most feel in their head or their backs. A tingling feeling that is absolutely amazing and relaxing. The tingling generally doesn't come randomly; it can come from various sound or visual triggers, which can include whispering, tapping on surfaces, the sound of rain, etc. Not everyone's ASMR is triggered by the same thing, and there are others who don't experience it at all. It sounds really weird, but it works. I think I experience some form of ASMR, unfortunatley a while ago I had built up an immunity to it and wasn't experiencing it anymore. :( If something like that happens all you need to do is take a break from ASMR videos, like I did. :) You can read into it a bit more - probably better than I can explain it - here: http://www.asmrlab.com/ Sleep well. ^-^
