Any Theories on the Future Countries?

Does anyone have predictions for the countries in the future? Brushing away politics a little, though. I am personally very surprised that the United States and India have more than twice the population than Russia...Since Russia is the largest civilized country, of course.
I think that in the future the United States are going to take over more parts of countries, and I think that China might begin to rot away...Since it might not be able to support the resources for all of the children and inhabitants.
I think Russia will prosper, and possibly grow stronger since it won't need as much supplies as the other countries...and India....I do not know what India will have happen to it, but I think India is going to stay the way it is for a while, since it's culture is shared very well with the countries around it, so there would be no point in war.
