Can someone view the screamer for me and tell me what it is? I heard it comes with a free virus too I heard the thig is: full flashing screen of jefff te killer with scary maze game scream and static screen CREEPY do not post a video of it here kids view this the thumbnail is usually scary
It is indeed a Jeff The Killer screamer. Seen the link spammed over youtube and it comes with a sh*t load of viruses. I ain't to foolish to click on the links.
Then you probably use something with iOS, that's nearly immune to viruses. Anyway, I was once dared by a friend to check that site. It was a bad idea, I did in fact get a virus. It is Jeff with sounds, but it would be scarier if it was smiledog, luckily it's not. It's not that scary, depending on your computer... Until you get viruses.
Alright, fair enough, maybe your security on your PC was simply pretty good then. I have no idea. It definitely crashed my computer, that's for sure.
Wait, are you saying when the viruses are complete Jeff randomly appears on your screen? If so, I gotta look at the Jeff the killer image on paper in Technology
No, not really like that. The second you go to any website, it transfers information to your computer. The website would instantly give you a virus. Jeff would appear, yeah, and flash for a bit. A few seconds, virus hacks into your computer and starts destroying your hardware. It could blue screen or crash in general. The picture is a picture of a dumb scary story, the virus is the real threat.
^ Viruses can't destroy your hardware anymore, they just cause serious lag, data stealing/corruption, screamers, etc. But, if you think you've been infected, just run a virus scan with your AV. (If you're really paranoid, run a scan with multiple AVs [but not at the same time])
Ah, they did on my old computer. But I suppose that is just because it was old. Yeah, running scans is useful, my computer was lagging a ton the other day and I found heaps of cookies on it. Black Friday and Cyber Monday... Two most popular days for viruses and cookies.
A virus can destroy hardware, only parts of the PC it self, (Harddisk e.g). But a virus won't be able to destroy, lets say your headset, microphone etc.
True, that's what I meant, only the parts of the PC. I never thought it would destroy external hardware. Although that would be an interesting virus... One that not only messes up your computer, but everything attached via USB or any sort of cable: monitor, printer, even stop a keyboard from functioning correctly. That would be a difficult (if not impossible) virus to create, though.
Wait, what ARE cookies (the one in the post, not food) Edit: and yes, I am afraid of the image. Call me a scaredy-cat if you want, but I am TERRIFIED of that image. Smiledog, im ok with. Seems a little creepy (and it only WAS an email to the world). SlenderMan: meh. He's old now.
