Here are a few tips that in my opinion can help certain people at OITC. Enjoy :D Tip 1 If you find yourself in a situation in which someone is coming up to you and you have an arrow, refrain to only using your sword because if you win the fight you will have two arrows (make sure its someone that you know you are are better than) Tip 2 If you notice someone running towards you, run away from them and after a couple of seconds of running, do a 180 and shoot the player with your bow Tip 3 If you are close (not in) a cluster of fighting players, rather than joining the bloodbath with your sword, use your bow and fire into the cluster, you are guaranteed to get 1-5 kills anytime Tip 4 If you ever find yourself IN a cluster of players fighting, use your sword to kill a player who's health is low and back out of the cluster and use Tip 3 Tip 5 When you spawn in the match waiting for it to start, crouch, if you crouch most of the time players won't go after you as soon as it starts and you can get off to a good start Tip 6 Never run away. This actually can apply to some people, from what I've noticed over the past couple years I've been playing, players only run because they can get an arrow when they die. An arrow...But the key to the game is not the arrow (although the arrow is the one addition that makes OITC what it is). The key to the game is to be at the top of the kills list, besides, you'll never learn to PvP if all you do is run at the face of a challenge, turn around, and fight! Tip 7 When waiting for the match to start, apply Tip 5, and examine your surroundings, look for nearby players and make sure there is no one spawned right next to you or something (like on Carrier) Tip 8 When going head on against someone, strafe them, don't straight line up to them because that makes you an easy target for strafers and for getting shot from behind by a bow Tip 9 If you find yourself in a 2v1 against a team, play defensive and only attack whatever player comes up to you and never attack a certain player because the other team member could kill you from behind Tip 10 Avoid talking in chat, talking in chat slows you down and could get you killed. If you ever to need to chat, go to a remote area of the map and type it quickly before returning to the battle Thanks for reading :) Hope some of these tips could help you at OITC!
Tip 5 is counter intuitive. I make myself noticed so they come to me and I kill them. Don't crouch and hide lol
