1.8

I would like to know when this server will have been fully upgraded to 1.8. I mostly play in sky block and i would really like armor stands and such, It would be wonderful if you could get back to me as soon as possible on the 1.8 release to sky block.

 

I don't believe anyone really knows, Bukkit and Mojang are having a problem... and because of that Bukkit hasn't been updated yet..

 

The server uses Spigot now.

 

At the earliest, 1.5 to 2.5 months from now (when Spigot EXPECTS to release a 1.8 build).

However, there's a lot of work internally to do for 1.8, as all plugins have to be updated to use UUIDs.
So I can not give you an OFFICIAL estimate.

Actually the server has always used spigot. Bungeecord their server travel thing is ONLY compatible with spigot.
Also I have a copy of spigot that runs 1.7.x-1.8 just doesn't let you place 1.8 blocks. Bukkit has given up. Due to dmca there done. BUT spigot is bukkit just better. Spigot is gonna keep fighting. They are using a patch at the moment to let people get updates. There GitHub repo was dmca'd as well.
But they will find a way.

1.8 is 1.Late

 

It's the main reason why the server didn't (fully) change to 1.8.

Sorry but you can't access the features of 1.8 until Bukkit/Spigot is updated.
The date of when this will be updated has not been revealed (yet).

 

Well, AFAIK, neither have officially "died"
Both are fighting, just Mojang is going to re-do Bukkit.

And BungeeCord works with Bukkit.
Just sayin.

 

will as far as I know that 1.8 wont be updated until a long time and all the reason are above my message. In my opinion... I don't really want it to update since someone people said that iron farm wont work anymore in 1.8 but I do like the blocks and such its just that iron farm wont work but not to sure about gold farm.

 

Well Spigot works best.
