At lunch the other day, all of my friends and I, we had an argument on if things are impossible. What do you guys believe? Edit: I mean every single thing. Not about everything, everything.
Everything is possible. Nothing's impossible. If it's impossible now, then man will find a way. Plainly, with the right mindset and the right tools (even tools that haven't been invented yet), anything can be accomplished.
I believe anything is possible. There's always a way to achieve that goal. There's never a reason to give up. Like many say impossible technically has the words "I'm" "Possible" If you are very determined it can be done.
If you literally mean everything then no. For instance it would be impossible for me to shapeshift into a goat. However, with modern technology and definitely future technology, my brain could probably be put into the body of a goat or something could be made so I could control a goat with my mind and see from its point of view, etc, basically being a goat. What I'm saying is that not everything is possible, but you can get the same outcome from a different solution; instead of growing wings to fly use a jetpack or a plane - you still are flying and can get from point a to point b without wings. Everything is possible to achieve.
There are some causes that can't happen, such as growing wings being a cause and the result being that you can fly, but ever result is possible - instead of wings to fly we have planes and jetpacks (using the same examples because it's the most common). So you can get any result but not every cause is possible.
No, a male can not give birth. Yes, they can provide certain elements needed to reproduce, but they themselves can not birth the child.
Everything is possible in the sense of objective, but everything is not possible in terms of methods used to achieve said thing. I can get on a plane and fly, but I can't grow wings and fly. I can't eat something through my eyes. That's something as well. Theoretically, there could be some way to do this, but only a few ways. I can't shove a sandwich in my face and expect my eyes to obtain energy from the food.
"People say nothing is impossible, but I do nothing every day" -- Winnie The Pooh ^I just had to put this here.. Nano said that he can get on a plane and fly, but he can't grow wings and fly right? So, maybe you can't do everything but there are other ways of doing it like going on a plane to fly etc?
Impossible doesn't exist! Cause Munchhausen said so. (No one read it? Damn you guys. And you call ME dumb.)
Nothing is impossible but it would require alternatives. Like you can't float but you can use a helicopter.
I'm just going to be the buzzkill here. If everything is possible, wouldn't that mean it is possible for something to be impossible?
