Minecraft How to stop lag

RAM has nothing to do with affecting FPS.

Minecraft is basically all CPU, The storage has nothing to do with it.

Go on then, show me. Even with 4 GB o' RAM, it will still be okay.

 

I get like 50fps when I use 2 gb but when I use 4 gb I get 150 fps

What kind of cpu do you have?
@TheHarryzx I am pretty sure dedicating more ram to minecraft will make your game run tons faster. Yes, it is a lot of cpu, but having more ram to dump stuff in really helps.

increase allocate ram by modify JVM arguments

-Xmx2048M -Xms2048M

I mean adding more RAM is good but won't really make it significantly faster.

Anything past 1GB won't make a difference.

If you had lets say 4GB of RAM you should allocate 2GB.

If you have 4GB and you allocate like 3.59GB your computer will run slow and it won't be better for Minecraft.

Just allocate exactly half of the amount of RAM you have.

have 8 gigabyte, put 6 to allocate, run better than 4, notice easy

must experiment better

 

I am not advice for how to get 150 fps, I am advice for "stop lag" .. not enough ram is lag, fix maybe. I go high render, need more ram. Try helped ..

1) press the power button
2) close your laptop screen (or) power off the monitor.
3) stand up
4) go outside
