I know, I have made a thread based on "Who is the most mature person on the forums?" however, I have decided to do another one since things in the community has changed. So who do you think is the smartest and also the most mature person on the forums?

    Me:

Most Intelligent: @Yomc, maybe even @KrisKrikken

Most Mature: I would say @Shadow_Folf

    Now what do you think?

P.S. To clarify, just because you weren't listed on this thread does not mean that you are stupid are immature. Just keep that in mind.

@Bl4ckThunder5 most intelligent person I've met on the forums. He is a student success mentor. Also, why don't you just link a IQ test.

@MSZ is the most mature person I've met on forums.

Intelligence would go to @Yomc since he seems to bring up facts in nearly every post he makes

Mature? No one really stands out, considering this is the internet.

I have yet to run into a single accurate online IQ test. If you want an accurate one, the best source is a Psychologist that is qualified to distribute and score the test when the test-taker is at a young age.

Anywho, I'm flattered. This is an interesting thread idea.
For most intelligent (and don't get me wrong, I'm trying to be humble), I kind of want to say myself. With a tested IQ score of 141 at the age of 4, I know my own potential and exercise it when need be. Saying that I'm intelligent isn't an arrogant opinion, it's more so of a fact.
That being said, I know that @Spikegold claims an IQ of 160, which is, if true, absolutely off the charts. That would beat me out. I also know another person that is extremely intelligent on this site, but since they never actually use their intelligence, they don't need to be mentioned. It would be somewhat of a crime to do so.

"Mature" is an extremely relative concept. How mature are we talking? If we're talking the most mature out of all of us... I'm going to overlook a select few of the staff members (after all, it's expected of them) and say @KrisKrikken for the time being. He handles himself well and makes fairly good decisions on the site, or at least better than those of others. He deserves some commendation there.

Well, I have taken multiple accurate and psychologically accurate IQ tests over the years. Recently, it has been increasing quite fast. At age 12, it was 138, at age 14, it was 152, and now, it is 157.

I do consider myself intelligent, likely more than most people, I certainly don't consider myself strides ahead of others. I don't really see how IQ reflects ones intelligence, aside from logic. Lots of my friends say that I overthink everything and that I am too logical at times. Seeing how carried away I get at times, I can't really disagree with their words.

But to get back to the point of the thread, I personally there are different kinds of intelligence. The definition of intelligence is "the ability to acquire and apply knowledge". Why I say there is different types of intelligence, is due to the many types of knowledge. It could be social knowledge, logical knowledge, creative/artistic knowledge, etc. However, I believe that the question of the thread is referring to logic and general thinking. My answer to that wouldn't be me, but rather @Yomc , as he is clearly able to think logically and give rather interesting and moving facts and points on a certain topic.

As for most mature, I would have to say myself, as egocentric as that may sound. A lot of people like to have their say on things, even if it may not be relevant to the topic at hand. I would say that my refraining of such behavior is considered mature, and due to how often this occurs, I would consider that a highly mature skill.

Feel free to disagree with me, but those are my opinions.

I'm definitely not the most intelligent person around, nor the maturest.

There are definitely a lot of intelligent people in this community, I'll give you that.
Mature people? Not in my books.

An IQ test doesn't test intelligence, it tests how quickly you learn and how efficiently you learn.

a (1) :the ability to learn or understand or to deal with new or trying situations :reason; also :the skilled use of reason (2) :the ability to apply knowledge to manipulate one's environment or to think abstractly as measured by objective criteria (as tests)

If intelligence is the ability to learn or understand or deal with new situations, and an IQ test measures how quickly and efficiently you learn, then that sounds like a measure of intelligence in my book.
(IQ tests can't measure reason, abstract thought, and personal motivations, but at the very least it can measure potential, in other words)

Intelligence is the ability to learn and apply knowledge, as @Yomc said. However, it is also described in many different ways such as your ability to reason, think, understand, remember, etc. By measuring how quickly you learn, IQ tests measure intelligence just fine.

Most intelligent: @YFIOTR, for learning from his mistakes, and not acting stupid.
Most mature: @ItsHarry and @ItsJerry. Reason: These guys put up with all of our shit, and manage to keep there cool way more often then most of us.

It should also be pointed out that intelligence and maturity is very subjective, so not one person is the "winner"

If I may, I would like to quote some of your posts though out of order:

Well, I mean, there are some very mature people on here such as @RobyNub1337 and perhaps @MSZ. I guess I can relate to where you are coming from however.

If I may ask a question, if you wanted to measure your own intelligence (Which is what I am interested in doing) does it have to be at a very young age in order for the to be the most accurate? I understand how as we age, we not only become more mature and experienced, but also age in intelligence. However, considering what you said, does it require the phycologist to see your intelligence at a young age (As I just said lol *Whips self* Bad boy)?

As I continue to quote more posts, would you be interested in having the knowledge that your actually not the only one in that category? I really do not know of anyone else besides you and I who are autistic, besides @SinisterKnowledge who I believe is diagnosed with the disorder. I mean, I am technically autistic (Aspergers Syndrome is mainly what I have) and I don't like mentioning it very much, but hey sometimes I get too courageous in mentioning random facts about myself (Yes, I am weird. lol). I have been told the same exact things as you have (By my parents at least). I do however like to second guess myself in thinking I am not very intelligent. I mean, you seem to be very intelligent considering your activity on the forums. I have no problem with mentioning you in the thread. Perhaps you would be my second or third prediction on the most intelligent people on the forums.

I can understand that as well.

For me I tend to take online maturity very lightly. As an online persona you can easily hide your immature behaviors, since you're behind a screen and everything is premeditated. Personally I don't think anyone here is as mature as they/the community makes them out to be; people are a lot different in the real world compared to here.
