Thanks, Dad. I really love the new game I have, Amnesia: A Machine For Pigs. It takes you to the year of 1899, where electricity was a lot more common, whereas in The Dark Descent, the year was 1839, where electricity was unheard of.

I would give Amnesia: A Machine For Pigs a 9/10.

+Increased frequency of enemies
+Darker, and gloomier atmosphere
-Less sounds in levels
-Not as good of a back story as Amnesia: The Dark Descent
+Graphics look a lot more real
+Flashbacks are not as "important", and enemies will no longer stop attacking you, even if you experience a flashback.
-An electric lantern.
-There is no way to heal yourself; there is no inventory in A Machine For Pigs, therefore your health cannot be tracked, and no sedatives, Laudanum or anything could be used to heal yourself.
+Harder puzzles (I got stuck on level 2 -_-)

I just finished playing Amnesia: A Machine For Pigs.

I cried. It was supposed to be a scary game, but there was a lot of emotional feelings in the game. Mandus, The Machine, Edwin and Enoch. The game ends with your character, Oswald Mandus, sacrificing himself to destroy the Machine, ripping his heart out.

(Note that the game takes place on December 31st, 1899.)

Damn lol. I always liked Amnesia, but I didn't know that one day it would delve into my emotional side.

Definitely better than The Dark Descent in story piecing, effects and realistic things, but A Machine For Pigs isn't something I'd like to play again, like The Dark Descent.

I'd give Amnesia: A Machine For Pigs a lot of credit.

 

I got an alt (for my friend) and Garry's Mod, Kraken Pro headphones and the cheapest Razer mouse I could find.

 

I have Amnesia: A Machine For Pigs and Amnesia: The Dark Descend! Both are awsome!! I also got Portal and Portal 2 and Bioshock Triple Pack :D BEST XMAS EVER !!!!
