Okay this is kind of a responce to @Winfurd360 's video. Running in OITC is a strategy, and a smart one, if used correctly. Now there is a difference between running for a good reason. Then there trying to be an ass. I only condone the first one. What people dont realize is that the key to PVP, and most combat, is controlling the fight between you and said opponent. This means that if someone comes up and hits you by surprise, you have no control, you can turn and swing, but you will fail and die. However if you run you control where the fight goes. you can make a jump or something to swing back around, make a critical, and take out your opponent. This same logic is why people hate running. You come to the fight with control, and now you loose the control, your frustrated and loose. Also the most common complaint i here is: while he regend, yha he did, again controll. And if you are half way decent at OITC i dont want to here that excuse, you have played enough to know how to take someone out. And lastly the best way to kill a runner is to BE a runner. If youpractice the tactic your self, then you know the strength and weakness of said tactic.
^ you could argue that but... Sometimes you get those noob runners that you get 2 hits on and then they run circuits round the map. This is immensely annoying especially if you are in a close game and need the kills. I agree that running can be a strategy but don't run for more than 3 seconds because otherwise it can be annoying.
Hey man!!! Bro imma have to admit, you have a great argument here, very well said! But as usual, I don't like losing "arguments" like this, but hey, this is all fun bro ;) So to be honest, yes @Diamonds170 is right about the whole, "running circuits". THAT is a definite no-no. But sometimes, there really IS no defined, "running when its ok or not". You're probably confused as to what I'm saying now. What I'm trying to say is, people have SOOOOOOO many different opinions on "running", like what they allow and what they don't like. So people, don't run for like two minutes around the map. Just give your self up, die if you need to, and you'll just respawn back again ;) Thx, and no hard feelings!!!!!!
I usually stop chasing a runner after 2 seconds and ditch him and go find someone else, because I don't like chasing weaklings.
both u and the other guy are right. there is running tactifully. and then there is running to make an ass out of yourself
I remember a game when 2 people had 19 kills, including me. I was about kill a guy until he started running all the way across the map where he suicided. That made me lose the game since it was a waste of time.
^ @Mats9799 i was in a game yesterday before i decided to quit oitc and i was on 19 kills and tntmelon was on i think 16 he managed to win because of 1 runner. :\
Tactic to avoid Runners strategy: Have a bow and arrow reserved anytime to shoot the runner.Or,Wait for it.Sometimes in a 1v1,I just stand there not trying to chase, that annoys him
I use this all the time. I usually run up stairs or something and jump back down while they are coming up. You end up getting the ability to have 2 critical hits and kill your enemy easily.
then find someone else . if one person is running away from the fight, and someone is running to the fight who would you go after?
