Nether Portal

    In Peaceful Survival almost every nether portal is blocks off leaving you trapped in the portal and crashing your computer. Is there any way to fix this or is it just minecraft? On my computer there are no buttons to fix this so it leaves me waiting until minecraft crashes to get out, sometimes it's instant or sometimes it takes 20 minutes and it's quite annoying, is there anyway to prevent this?

    Yup,
    If its in survival do alt + f4 then log back into the server while doing that spam "T", so while it says "Connecting to server" spam "T".
