Lobby Ideas

It would cause a lot of lag for it to regenerate.

 

Sounds more like an actual minigame

 

Make some easter eggs around the lobby. Oh and an AFK spot/pool specially for @XenonHD.

Will post more for more ideas, don't worry. This isn't all I got.

"ADDIT" #1:
Maybe add places we all can hang out at? And have a themed lobby like mountain theme, forest theme, future city, neighbourhood or something. I mean like, make it interesting not just boring squares and stuff (I still appreciate your work Willy, don't worry).

"ADDIT" #2:
Make small lobby minigames for example, an item toss thing, get the item to fall in the hole and you get cool fireworks or something. For decorations maybe have the ItsJerryAndHarry banner (the ItsJerryAndHarry picture at the top of the forum page) at the lobby? That might be too big if its a pixel art so maybe use paintings instead. Maybe have a "Staff Members Area" too. Instead of just putting their heads or just having their names mentioned maybe have that player mob thing using the staff members' skin. I know that putting all the staff members would take up so much space and might cause lag so just put a few like Jerry, Harry, Saul, Potato, Hai and You (Willy). Have a few statues of a few random things like mobs, minecraft stuff, etc. You could also have a news/new video section where you could build words that changes once in a while telling about a new minigame and/or new video upload. If you want to make it quite more simple just use an ender dragon.

"ADDIT" #3:
Here are suggestions of the "small lobby minigames". Parkour, item toss (already mentioned above^), mini quiz, mini ender golf, snowball shooting thing or king of the hill/ladder/pole. You don't need to add all of them Willy, it's your choice. You're the builder here ;)

How about you include a couple of different biomes (Plains, Hell, Sky (End), Jungle, Taiga, Snow, etc.) all in a dome and outside the dome there is the "play area" or join game signs.

 

I'm just going to list stuf that I think and Ideas that I have and also some of the things others said because thats what I personaly think would make the lobby awesome.

• Make it bigger
• AFK lobby/pools
• Parkour
• Trampoline
• Floating sky lands
• Easter Eggs
• Donator lounge (If possible)
• Staff board with their heads
• Recent donations board saying what the player bought with their head
• Rules Board. We need one, not everyone reads the book and a rule board would be more noticeable. With all of the rules because the Book barely has anything except the basic rules.
• A help board with commands info and Donations info
• A huge Welcome To ItsJerryandHarry pixel art sign
• Boards infront of every minigames portal or next to it explaining how to play the game.
• New Gadgets. Yes, we can fly, disguise and have pets but due to the EULA's loss of some perks, new little gadgets purely cosmetical could be awesome to have in the lobby. Most of the people hangout in the lobby so it would make things even more fun.
• Mines so we can adventure even more in the lobby
• Medieval kind of houses to make the place look really cool and a nice natural lobby with medieval houses, moutains, floating sky lands etc.
• Little shops. If we added coins to the server, we could have little shops with villagers in selling gadgets as I mentioned earlier.
• and finally, huge portals. As Audrey said, not rectangular but a circle kind of design to make it look even better.

Thank you so much Willy for making a new lobby and I hope that a lot of these will be implemented but of course, not all of them can xD

Add an Love/Valentine spot just something supersweet <3 than couples like @XenonHD with @KateVampire or @desiredmc with @Creamcol77 can hang out there <3 and add with it an secret love cave that is dark but pink for kissing <3

Random villagers that give you information

 

How about a pressure plate that makes it so when you do step on it it makes you fly like REALLY high in the air. Or just hide them randomly around the new spawn to freak people out.
