That is the new mob. You will see this on the sea beds in Minecraft 1.8 and it's not scary.

those things arent scary, they are amazing c: also they look pretty damn good and arent very derpy at all either, mojang impressed me with these guys, however the elder sea guardian flashing over your screen is freaky xD

 

1.8 has so much new stuff in it, that its taking so long to release lol

and yes those are scary :c

 

Cant wait for 1.8! So many features upcoming that it might even be the best update YET as of today :p
Really love the new mobs (except endermite), they will add some more difficulty to the game which, to more experienced players like me, its just delightful :D

 

1.8 is gonna be very laggy.
