I honestly don't know why this hasn't been properly reported before.
This glitch/bug is so massively used that no one wants to report it because it assists them when they desperately need it.
For lack of a better name lets call it the, "Enderpearl back into spawn" glitch.
Throughout the ItsJerryAndHarry Factions lifetime there has always been this cheap trick; this highly exploited glitch leaves PvPers baffled and enraged. Majority of the op battles I get into instead of dying properly they enderpearl back into spawn which is incredibly annoying and unfair.

Now here's the biggy,
I propose some sort of barrier around spawn to prevent enderpearling away from battles; I've seen several competent barriers on other factions servers that worked fine. If strategically planned and placed the barrier will eliminate all use of unfair fleeing.

Several side notes:
I could have individually reported and called out people for pearling into spawn but there is just far too many people that do it. (especially OP people I've 1v1'd that pearled away, you know who you are.)

I admit to using the pearling bug a few times but this wasn't in a time of urgency, in other words I wasn't 1v1ing or about to die.

I know the barrier might not look pretty but it would immensely increase the PvP experience on this server.

 

WHY DID YOU HAVE TO REVEAL THIS

 

People like you exploit it during OP battles, which takes out the whole thrill and loot aspect of pvp: what is left in pvp without the loot and thrill?

 

Maybe sometimes a guy could be hacking on you or have stronger stuff than you, making it NOT a thrill. It isn't annoying and unfair to a lot of people, it just means that you thought you were strong but weak and need to get better stuff...yeesh.

 

Why dude! Why!!! Why did you have to report this. Oh yeah, by the way. This is not a bug or a glitch.

 

Actually it is, if I'm not mistaken. There should be a plugin implemented to prevent people enderpearling into spawn, but according to this report that's not working.

 

well that pluggin is working its just how the spawn is made. Basically if you enderpearl on the side of a wall over a gap where people can jump down from then hold your forward key you will fall into spawn.

 

There is a barrier added, that's what I discovered today...

 

Well, it works and doesn't work.

There is a barrier that blocks the teleport, but not around all of spawn. The pillars aren't protected and you can easily EPearl on to one of the slabs and jump off.

 

I was the first one to do this. They could remove it or just put the no ender pearl there.

 

This hardcore, deal with it.

I agree. Lots of people enderpearl into spawn to get away from pvp. You can fix this or just raid there fac :D

 

I think it's a ok idea BUT I once got pushed in or fell in with my good stuff and I couldn't get out so I tried to ender pearl..... But they killed me because I got glitched in the ground... ._.

 

This is fixed now. I think.
