Grammer

As someone who used to have a really bad grammar, I know how annoying it is when people correct you.
Advice: When Google doesn't recognize the word (When it has a red line under it), right click it and choose the right correction. It doesn't fix your grammar, but if fixes your spelling... ;)

Who says he doesn't want to be treated the same way?
I would love it if people corrected or opposed me. "You misspelled this", "your grammar is wrong", "actually, it doesn't work that way", etc.

But I do somewhat agree with him, on a less aggressive scale. English is pretty much the main language in this world. Everyone should learn it, and try to be as good at it as mentally possible for them.

 

Not everyone is good at English. Some are some aren't, that's just something we have to live with.

 

But they can be, so they should try their best. They can speak their own language, can they not?
I'd say English is nearly as important as your own language.

 

I don't see what's the big deal with grammar.
Everyone makes mistakes, not everyone has 'perfect' grammar.

It's just people trying to help, but i do agree, it does get annoying when people are correcting every single mistake you got.

"And that's final", what are you trying to say with this? "I'd say" doesn't mean it is.
There's nothing at all wrong with making mistakes, even if your English is really broken, but denying or hating people who try to correct you isn't acceptable, in my opinion. You should always strive to improve.

 

Well, what I've seen lately is a person tries to make a point, and then everyone completely disregards the meaning of the message and focuses on their grammar, though it was fine as is and I could understand it well.

People are here to have fun, not have a lesson in english.

 

Why judge people on their grammar? Speedys just a kid, if they speak like that, accept it. Understand them as much as you can and youll see them in a different way. If you keep putting them down cause they speak funny, they will believe that they really are stupid. :(

Repect people for who they are, not how their grammar is.

Also, English is not the most spoken language. that's Mandarin/Chinese. English is the most spoken second language.

Ok guys, why are we making corrections for such simple mistakes. We are not robots that have no problems in our sentences. I mean, I know grammar is but we do not need to make one letter posts correcting the smallest mistake. It looks childish.
