On the other hand this didn't only effect mojang it effected TONS of online businesses such as facebook twitter Gmail etc. So if you are changing your password for minecraft I would change your other passwords as well.

 

I change my Password every Friday XD
All things (Twitter, Youtube and Others).

Because one of my friends, which you know as maxuhmillion. Is currently experiencing this problem.

I use the same password for everything, I have not changed it for a couple of years and I don't want to bother trying to remember a new password

Lol, TBH, I don't bother. This security leak in OpenSSL have been there in 2 years, and hasn't been found yet? I doubt it. Also, why would someone who could hack 60% of the internet, hack Minecraft passwords?

If you hack a migrated mc account you have a working email and a password. First thing as a hacker you gonna do is go to popular sites like facebook and twitter and try it there because most people use the same password for all services. Also if it only gives you a working email login you can reset the passwords from the other sites because the pw reset emails will be recieved by that mail account.

My password looks like this
Password Example: turd
Acc 1: turd
Acc 2: Turd
Acc 3: turD
Acc 4: turdd
Acc 5: tturd
Etc. So that's how I variate passwords so it wouldn't be too hard to remember too many passwords :)
