As of the time I'm posting this. 5th of June 2022: I've currently not hit level 400 in OITC or have got 200k kills (So I don't whether I should talk about that at least for now so I might make an updated version of this thread.

Roughly around Christmas time of ItsJerryandHarry 2012. A few of my friends told me that I should play this server and I always wanted to find a place on Minecraft to play. I started off with Survival Games and back then I wasn't good at pvp at all (compared to now). I wanted to try every minigame there was on ItsJerryandHarry and see how well I played those minigames. I never really was allowed to talk to anyone online since I was very young and was easily influenced by bad behavior so most of the early-on events and stuff on ItsJerryandHarry wasn't like massive for me in terms of popularity I had on the server. Then On March 6th 2013 (I THINK) A new minigame was released that changed most of my life. One minigame that I've tried to become the best at, One minigame I've put countless hours into, One in the Chamber.

I was 10 years old when I first played OITC, All I remembered was a dark room with glowstone and a big black wall with a bunch of numbers showing the games that everyone was running up to. I didn't know much about this game so I stopped playing it for a bit. I came back about a few weeks later and released there was some things that have been changed. (new maps and lobby and leaderboard). I never really knew much about the leaderboard but there was many top players I had inspiration for at the time (skipping a bit ahead of time again roughly around at 2014 rn since everything was boring in the past relating to me). @Beef__Chizzel @iPr0xyy and @kinghakaka. I'd say the first person I talked to on OITC in chat was someone who told me to keep going at the game even if I lost. @kadinator10. He was one of the first people I really enjoyed playing with and he was a lot better then me at the time. But then I improved a shitton and started to win more games more frequently. Not much longer after that I met 2 kids that also were fun to hang out with at the time @connorjackneroli and @jackyjandrels they were 9th and 10th on the very 1st leaderboard so I really wanted to talk to them since I'd assume they were good due to being on the leaderboard. I remember back in the first reset when Connor got his level 200 we'd all chant in the VC "CONNOR JACKNEROLI LEVEL 200 BADUMDUDMUMD BAAAAAAAAAAA" or something like that. (child humor).

After the 1st reset I tried to engage with more people in the community and got Premium Rank to try and get on the leaderboards faster. Some good friends I met on the way were people like @Trevor, @Pancho, @jellymoon, @SSAce, @Joshablob, @Kaiisawesome95 @swishgaming5435 and many others. Some of these people I still talk to from this very day. I remember the day that I got onto the leaderboards on the 2nd level board. it was only top 12 and I passed @pandaness123 to get onto the leaderboard. my little 11/12 year old self was shitting himself and didn't think he was good enough to get on the board. Lots of new faces and friends came time and time again such as @GeneralPorkchops @MJTAkimbo, @XxJackieboy87xX, @SizZelZ_SteaKz @ma73934 and many more. But then I met one of my biggest rivals I was racing for a goal nobody has ever hit before. (Level 300). That guy was @itsVollx, Although he managed to get it before me, I still managed to get Level 300 not far behind from when he did. Then there was a new update. A system of point distribution known as "ELO Rating" and everyone was focusing on that. I was really wanting to get #1 on the ELO Leaderboard and the Level Board which it did eventually happen and then I got passed in the level board by Itsvollx again. Although the day I got #1 on both leaderboards there was another goal I was really wanting to get that being "2000 ELO" and this was when I got a little bit too greedy. This was roughly around early 2016 I was 13 years old and was still very immature. I was at 1950ish ELO and then I realized I wasn't gaining any ELO at all from winning games. So because of my dumb 13 year old ass not knowing what "boosting" was. I decided to boost the rest of the ELO to get to 2000 ELO without anyone knowing. Not too long after, I got all my stats fucking wiped and I was banned for about a year or something. So that fucking sucked so Imma skip ahead to when I got unbanned briefly and then I got #1 again and noticed that the server was very dead and didn't have anyone in the OITC lobby so I boosted again because I wanted to achieve what I wanted but it didn't work so I decided to grow up and stop. I decided to see if there was anything going on in OITC after I made an appeal that was made sometime in 2020. And then I returned. Everyone who knew me back in the day that saw me get unbanned had very mixed/negative opinions about me due to my history I've had in the past. But I really wanted to prove myself to everyone and especially to this one fucking thread I saw a long time ago (I wasnt a good person) upload_2022-6-5_17-9-23.png

Obviously a lot has changed such as me being better at the game. Someone saying in an old forum thread that I will never hit level 400 (Im lvl 393 as im posting this) and I wouldn't gain the communities respect ever again. Well At least YOU THOUGHT.
    upload_2022-6-5_17-10-37.png
I've been doing everything I can to regain old friendships I've had with people that I knew from back in the day such as @Trevor, @Du_ck, @NeedMoreRamen, @jellymoon and more. I also noticed some people I haven't really seen before who have heard/known about me when I first came back.
And there was two people who I have respect for still for making this decision on inviting me back to the community those being @zoom and @MichiganST. They wanted to give me a chance and see how I'd be and everything has gone smoothly since. Then some more players who I became friends with and earnt trust with are @JojiAri, @LunarNova, @traker, @Mountier and more. I managed to regain most of my skill and even learnt some new things that weren't as popular. I wanna thank @Trevor, @zoom and @Eassen for practicing and teaching me a lot about the mechanics of this minigame. I eventually grinded up to the level board and passed a shitton of players and got to #2 and I also managed to get Masters in ELO with 1864 ELO at my peak but at the end of the reset I was 4th at Emerald. Now we're up to the current reset (the last one) So I decided fuckit and no life the shit out of this and grinded this countless nights after nights. I met some more great friends on the way too and some that returned to the game such as @Eassen, @Snowie, @beastfreak123, @pablosanches6900 and much more. There was many great players who still play/played I also managed to be one of the only few Emerald Players. and I got to level 300 again! and maybe even 400 and 200,000 kills (unsure since I havent reached it yet, currently at 181k kills and lvl 393). I even got to have my Dream Come true and make my own OITC map with Player8034, known as "Intersection". And there's been something me @CherriesAndWine and @LunarNova have been working on that is NEARLY FINISHED (basically finished) known as "OITC World" which would keep track of the entire timeline of OITC history. upload_2022-6-5_17-23-6.png
Another thing I'm going to be working on is something that will cover the ENTIRE HISTORY (mostly) of OITC Which will be posted in approximately 6 months-a year which will be on my YouTube (dont take down this thread just for the self promotion it's just for nostalgic). reasons): https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCACUdxVQr46gSr_AQ3hwpNg
It will be a video covering the entire history of OITC from start to finish as well which would be inspired by "OITC Leaderboard Montage" by @YFIOTR except it would be way longer and more in-depth.

    Now for the thank yous:

I want to start off by thanking @ItsJerry and @ItsHarry for running this server, I'm surprised it's been like nearly/roughly 10 years of having a server up. I'm proud of you two for being able to own/host a server for that long and making OITC become a thing.

Thanks to @ItsWilly for letting me help build and guide me around with event2 stuff, you're a great friend and inspiration I've had when I was a lot younger and a genuine kind person to talk to.

@Trevor, my god you've taught me so many things and you probably still are, I just want to thank you for being a long lasting friend I've been with in the community and being one of the first person I've talked to. You're fucking cracked at OITC and every time I'm in a call with you I feel a lot more calmer and comfortable. Thanks for being a great friend.

@jellymoon, You've always been someone I've loved being in VCs with, probably one of the most funniest people I've talked to and have probably 1v1ed you in OITC the most out of anyone (maybe). You've consistently have been very good and I'm still going to be waiting for CBT 1, 2 and 3. You're also a very good teammate I've had in Gunfight too. You're always going to be somewhere good in my life. Keep your head up brother and don't ever back down. You're a real one.

@Du_ck, Ever since you talked to me on skype, I never thought you'd actually continue to play more and more and become more active, I thought you'd just leave after talking to me once but you've been someone who is consistently within the community for a while and definitely one of the best gamers I've ever encountered. You're someone who I still look-up to and you're always someone who can empathise with whenever I've been in a shitty mood. Thanks.

@Eassen, You're someone whose made me realize how technical the game can be and just knowing more stuff in the game. I remember talking to you a long time ago before you had a rank and showing you the trapdoor spot in Hijacked when we did our first ever 1v1. ever since then you've grown as a player and a person. You've always been very good at the game and probably have taught me how to play 1v1s more defensively. Thanks for being such a cool dude.

@LunarNova, Although we've not talked much in the past we've definitely become a lot closer as friends now, you're a very calm, kind and collected person. I've always enjoyed being in VCs with you and playing against you and especially when we built the temples on the creative plot and saying "all the way around" in a british accent. You're someone I wish I could still talk to more and you've always seemed to have my back. Thank you

@JojiAri, At first I didn't know much of you and didn't have good impressions, Until one day we decided to just move on from just me trying to gain your trust due to returning to OITC. You were someone I've always enjoyed being in VCs with and just needing to calm down and vibe with. I really loved the drawings you've done of me (except for like 3 THAT WE ALL KNOW LMAO), And leaving South Park on to watch. Also fuck solstice.

@MichiganST, Kyle I don't know how to thank you but you've always been someone who has been super kind, calm and fun to play with. whether that was the amount of times we've 1v1ed in OITC or playing bedwars or golf. You've always seemed to be the most patient person I've talked to and one who doesn't seem to blame others for something. Thanks for being a very kind friend.

There's a lot more people to thank that I would write more messages too but I don't want to ramble on too much so Imma write a list of people who I wanna say a big thanks to:
    @Mountier, Flenk, MasterRyko, @NeedMoreRamen, @pablosanches6900, dudeanything, @MJTAkimbo, @Pancho, @cherriesandwine, @zoom, @kadinator10, @beastfreak123 @connorjackneroli, @ma73934, @xxjackieboy87xx, @swishgaming5435, @BestllamasCP, @ShadowFlames, @SSAce, @Kaiisawesome95, @AidanBr0, @Joshablob, @PheonixYT_, @Str4fe_Combos, @Snowie, @suiio, @Beef__Chizzel, @iPr0xyy, and MANY MORE PEOPLE IT COULD JUST GO ON AND ON BUT IM STOPPING HERE.

The grind to level 400 and 200k kills is almost over. We're in the final stretch.
Thanks to everyone for playing this server. I will miss you all

No matter what happens, J&H is a family and for many people, their childhood even. Just savor and appreciate what was, as nothing will ever replace those memories.
