Player Activity...

Clearly there isn't enough player activity and I don't think I've seen anyone besides from a couple players (e.g MrSidmanfu, Mountier, pablo, mcbeast, zoomn, groofer).

Like this week really they're like the only people I've seen play for like at least 10+ games. everyone else I might've played with for like a couple games but like the activity is like nothing compared to the previous 2 months and I can imagine it was even more active before I came back.

So I have a request:
Either completely remove OITC since it's not getting the appreciation it deserves to receive.
or do a leaderboard reset so then it's more likely for more players to come on and come back and grind for the boards.


I know some staff know that the community is desperate for a reset. and I really think that having a reset once every 2 years-3- 4 years is waay way way too long.

I just think 1 year leaderboard should be the thing. I really am hoping there's going to be a OITC update in development very soon. because I'm currently having 0 fun with the game now and I want to quit but I also don't want to.

Pray for a reset...

 

The server's player-count has its ups and downs, and so does each player's interest in the game. Resetting/updating OITC is one thing, but removing it altogether simply because "it's not getting the appreciation it deserves to receive [currently]" doesn't solve anything.

Why not take an actual break from OITC rather than saying you will, and then going back to playing it a ton right after? Might be one possible way for you to regain interest in playing again afterwards, until OITC gets updated.

 

-1 please don't ever post another thread saying OITC should be removed. I think a reset every year is just fine. No update needed, just reset stats and ELO and no one will complain.

 

I agree that it has definitely died down, but that was to be expected with christmas break ending for students. Also, you are in a different time zone than the majority of the OITC players, there are actually quite a few games going on during the day i've noticed (although mostly noobs) but it's when it'd be like 4am for you. I do wish there were more players though. I'd like variety instead of always playing with either the same 15 people who are extremely good, or a couple randoms that can't even get a kill.

About the reset, I think a yearly reset is what we need. More than a year is definitely too long, but if it's less than a year there'd be no point in trying to gain ELO since it's always gonna be reset in a few months.

 

I would know that if I wasn't blacklisted...
