Hahahah what I know exactly how abortion works. I take the birth control pill so I DONT have a baby, but it still gives me a chance of having a kid , I’d still get an abortion as I’m 19 and couldn’t afford to give a child a good life. It’s not a child yet anyway , it’s a clump of cells. Please research things before you say them. Rather than saying “you can’t change my mind” it’s literally not your mind to change?? When will you ever have to have one. Maybe if you got someone pregnant , but I guarantee you wouldn’t want a kid right now, and if you did it’s still the WOMANS choice at the end of the day, her body, her choice.

Yes it's killing a baby, no it's not murder. I hate these threads so much. Just let people live damn it. If a mother doesn't want a baby she should have the right to an abortion.

 

But the thing is, if you're gonna go into the ethics of all this, you have to see the big picture! We are 8 billion people on the planet, in two years we might be like 10, or 11, and life on earth is gonna become worse and worse (as we can see the shitstorm has already started). For example, this is why I don't think I want to have a kid, because they are going to grow up in a piece of shit of a place with little to no opportunities, socially and environmentally.

Doesn't really matter if its a baby still or an embryo. It's just preventing it from being born. Which should be the choice of the mother.

abortion should always be allowed and legal. i understand the person not carrying the child having a say/opinion but in the end it's up to the person that is pregnant and their doctor.
if you are pro-birth, you should be advocating for better sex education and affordable/free birth control n contraceptives.

A lot of people in my life are pro-life but they also say things like, "You don't need better sex ed, abstinence always works." Like yeah it works but really? Maybe if we were taught REALISTIC things in school like how to respect consent, what options there are, etc etc, abortion wouldn't be as big of a debate because people would be better educated on how to prevent unwanted pregnancy as well as how to stay safe and healthy.
+ A bit off-topic but I'd like to say that I've been involved with the foster-care/adoption system in the US and it is very flawed, a lot of kids get lost within the system and end up relying on theft/crime just to feed themselves, and then they're the same ones who are told they "deserve" to live in prison by people who advocated for their birth into a world that wasn't able to take care of them in the first place butttt

 

I believe the deadline abortion should be EXTENDED ten years into a child’s life. What always comes in mind for me is my younger brother. I knew he was a little shit ever since he turned 7 years old. My mom always took his side. IF abortion was extended to the first 10 years of a child’s life, I could have ended him. We’re all still a clump of cells, regardless of how many cells

even so, I don't think my opinion has changed. I don't know much about the whole stages of pregnancy but I'd imagine there's some point where the baby is fully developed or close to being fully developed. At that point, I'm against it, but say in the early stages like the first month or two... especially if you're pregnant because of circumstances you couldn't control, I think people have or deserve the right to do whatever shall they please. Does this mean I'd want to get one if I was in a situation like this? No... not necessarily (oc it all depends on the scenario) but I understand why some people would

 

If it isn't your body, it isn't your business. Let people do what the hell they want and go along with your day. If you disagree with them, continue to mind your own business. There is no need to guilt anybody into doing something they don't want to do.
