cough I'll just copy my response. I prefer Androids a lot since they have much better decisions on what you want and it's open-source so there is way more variety. Want a phone but for a cheap price? There are lots of them like the Samsung A10 (what I am using) Or Samsung s11+ Also used Android phones go for a cheap price, I can find a used Samsung Galaxy s9+ for 200€ which is still a pretty new phone and has amazing CPU and ram. Oh and a camera for those Instagrammers. Meanwhile, Apple is Closed-Source basically closes options on what kind of phone you want and I can say that iPhones age way better than compared to android phones. Yet since Apple is a huge company and it's "hip" to own a iPhone, for example, iPhone 6s is at its grave at this point but it's still sold at 200-300€ prices because of the name of the company that they are sold for which is outrageous here. But I do love the benefits from jailbreaking which you can also by rooting your android phone but jailbreaking in my opinion is way better and easier. This is coming from an iPhone and anandroid user.
Apple is a different case. Apple's software is optimized really well for their hardware, that's why Apple is almost always snappier than android. Also Apple has an ecosystem that is considered to be better than android because of the convenience.
Turkey iPhone prices are a bit expensive. Our country imposes very unnecessary taxes on the products. So, if You lived in Turkey, You would certainly use the android. But we do not think that you live in Turkey, I would definitely use a iPhone. I used an android phone for years, I am not satisfied at all. So two years ago, I bought iPhone 6s. It provides even better performance than current new phones. There are main reasons for this. Since Apple has its own operating system, it can even run very low rams at incredible performance. So if they look exactly bad, they actually perform better than most phones. Also, you won't have a virus on your phone unless you specifically install something (except AppStore) on the phone. There is no virus scan inside antivirus applications. Think like this :D In short, it is a very secure phone. You can lock your phone remotely and nobody can break that password and format your phone until you have your phone. In short, it's a secure and modern phone. Since I use apple, I never think of switching to android phone. Yes, it's very expensive, but it's an amazing phone. The only people who can understand me are the people who use it. It is also up to you. You can get both phone models.
I’ve had both Android and Apple phones. In terms of price for value, more often than not you’re better off with an Android phone. There is no denying that. When it comes to iPhones, a huge chunk of it’s price is due to branding. Android phones are also much more open-ended and are open to customization. There are a lot more reasons which I did not state for why Android may be a better choice. However, I personally prefer iPhones more. From design alone, iPhones already stand out. They’re easy to spot and identify, and have sleek designs. They also age quite beautifully in my opinion in the sense that years down the line, they still look relatively modern. Aside from that, iOS is a simple, yet surprisingly effective operating system. Considering that I own a Macbook and an iPad, having an iPhone makes my life easier due to all accounts being synced and backed up due to my Apple ID and iCloud. However, if I am to be completely honest, the number one reason why I like iPhones are because they’re a status symbol. If you own a late generation iPhone, more often than not, people will think of you as rich. Unfortunately, this was a huge deciding factor for me to purchase an iPhone. Sorry, I’m a clout chaser.
Prefer Apple UI. Prefer Android for just about everything else and the fact its eco-system isn't as cooked as Apple's. Overall, Android is the winner for me.
I've had both and I'd have to go with Android I have the Samsung S9 right now and absolutely love it Android just has so much more options for customization and it suits my needs perfectly EDIT : also so glad to see people on the same page as me, people always talk about their apple phone being superior and trash on android phones simply for social status
I upgraded to the 7 Pro from the Galaxy S8 and it's honestly been one of my better decisions made. It runs a pop-up selfie camera (which I hardly ever use) which allows the phone to go completely notchless/punch holeless; add that onto the amazing, bright screen and 90hz, it's a beauty. Runs so smooth too
Tbh I used android all my life up until like sophomore year in high school. I got an iPhone 8 then and after using it for 3 years (I just switched to the 11) I can quite easily say I prefer Apple. Obviously each brand has its own advantages and disadvantages, but for me, I truly believe that Apple phones are extremely sleek, aesthetically pleasing visually, and are quite quick and easy to use. They're sooo user friendly and also super customizable as well, contrary to popular belief. Apple imo is just a better software both OS and iOS (so that's me saying I prefer macbooks). I'm not much of a big gamer anymore, and I love to edit pictures and videos and make music and do graphic design, and for me (I currently have an HP Envy - upgrading to the 2020 macbook pro) those are the biggest things I use computers for. I think Windows computers are so much better in terms of their ability to do different shit but tbh I'd sacrifice that to have a macbook and be able to edit my videos and pictures really well, make music, etc other arts stuff that I'm doing in college. I don't think I'm going to get rid of my current laptop just bc of its capabilities in contrast to a mac. I think I need both systems for flexibility and for college. Ima also have to agree w @Netherr about the whole clout chasing thing im a bitch for that LMAO not me buying an apple watch, new phone, new laptop, airpods, and probably ipad pro soon all in the same year from apple im a hoe and need help with my spending habits
dude i even have an iPhone, none of my family members are comfortable using android tho (no hate lol).
Android. If iOS phones supported a working file management system, maybe I'd consider otherwise, but iPhones as an entire device are so resistant to let you do fucking anything. Download a ringtone? Nah, we'll make it so unbearably tedious solely to tempt you into just buying the sound on our garbage iTunes app. Anytime an iPhone user asks me to share something, I'm reminded precisely why I don't use those phones. Outside of that, Android widgets/etc are super fun to play with. Sure, you can jailbreak an iPhone for similar results, but the former version is miles more intuitive lol.
Man, you're forgetting Blackberry. Invincible phones! Used to throw mine around and it'd be mint. Same for my friends, theirs could endure a nuclear war. Lol. Don't think i ever saw a broken one...
