I'm a music lover! I wanna know your favourite album and why! Mine right now is .5 The Gray Chapter by Slipknot. This album helped me get through a grieving process when I lost a friend last year. I feel a connection to the songs due to the album itself being about their passed away bass player.
i'm terribly sorry about your loss. music is a universal language, it's a beautiful way of communicating and relating, gray chapter is simply another example. in my preference, textural records have always appealed most, whether it's vocally or instrumentally. subsequently, a record such as 'Donuts' by J Dilla holds hidden meanings within the samples from his emotions during production. he created many tracks in a hospital bed, while suffering from fatal illnesses. it's another example of how seemingly arbitary songwriting can also be an artist's own personal expression. i'm not nauseatingly sentimental about all music, but that wouldn't be a classic record if it sucked. it's much easier to split the question apart, so my favourite *live* record would be John Fahey's Santa Barbara Oil Slick performance of which isn't even far from my true fave. you've essentially got the dude in his prime doing a 76 minute long acoustic set, just him and his fuckin guitar, alongside some proper stage banter. i can't hate that record. you've got to be damn good to create an absolute atmosphere with nowt but a guitar, and he does that, so credit where it's due. additionally, sam cooke's 'Live at the Harlem Square Club' is another quality live record. it's an aural manifestation of everything beautiful, full of grit and passion. god bless that crowd though. soul magic :)
Digital Druglord- Blackbear (don't know if I can include the picture so I won't) Trench- Twenty-One Pilots A Fever You Can't Sweat Out- Panic! At the Disco BALLADS 1- Joji
i've kinda stopped being as into music (or rather, full albums) recently as i was but i'd still say my favourite album is deathconsciousness by have a nice life. it has some pretty incredible songwriting, it's amazing sound-wise, it builds an atmosphere not a lot of albums can for me, just hits all my sweet spots i also really enjoy live at jittery joe's by jeff mangum, in rainbows by radiohead, 1000 gecs by 100 gecs, and veteran by jpegmafia edit: and madvillainy doesn't rlly show nudity i dont see why not
I like threads about music and to discuss about music so here's some of my favorite albums: The Chronic by Dr. Dre not much to say it's a classic. Get rich or die tryin' by 50 Cent I have most of the songs on the album on my playlist and it also have a couple classics in it. Enter the Wu-Tang (36 Chambers) by Wu-Tang Clan I love the beats and I also love the group. All Eyez On Me by 2Pac I love all the songs on the album it's definently my favorite album ever. Life After Death by The Notorious B.I.G it's my favorite album by The Notorious B.I.G I'm listening to 90% of the songs on that album it's a 10/10 for me. If you haven't heard of any of these albums and love rap music I suggest you to take a look at the albums. All of them are very sick albums.

Got me thinking about life and what matters. I've listened to suicideboys for years every single day. I have also seen them live and that shit was hard and something to remember. SB is my life and one thing to keep myself together. also this album has so many bangers. I love their old music way more but everything I hear from them are so good and love them. Somehow tho, this album just brings a smile to my face with every song.
