even the so called "lovers of all types of music" have a genre that they dislike more than the others. however, if you look well, you can always find either a song or an album that will speak to you in said genre. tell us what genre this is for you, and tell us what song or album you enjoy from it! k-pop while not a music genre by definition per se, and while i wouldn't say i necessarily "hate" the genre, i the popular music scene in korea to be often insipid. just feels as if it's korean people trying to follow trends to attract as many people in the US as possible (with great success). a k-pop album that i found myself to absolutely love is shinee's 5th album a fun, energetic and eclectic collection of tracks. very, very well made. cloud rap (i don't count stuff like playboi carti in there) often feel as if the production in cloud rap is just kinda lazy & takes away all the energy that makes rap fun in the first place what a fucking memed guy, but fuck, this one track is heavenly. no matter how messy it is it's probably one of my favorite hip hop tracks of all time. and it really doesn't any get more "cloud rap" than that. so what about u bro!!!!!!!!!!!!!! tell me!!!!
mine as well isn't really a genre, but it is a semi-category of music so i'm gonna include it live albums - i don't like live albums. they're either too long or i don't like the sound quality of the actual music. admittedly, i never finished the fishmans live album, so maybe i'm missing out, but this is literally the only live album i enjoy it's such a bubbly, fun album. you can tell jeff mangum had a lot of interaction with the audience and it creates this almost happy and relaxing atmosphere that i can never get enough of
not a huge fan of k-pop either. however, it's because of the kpop fans. most of the kpop fandoms are toxic. these songs hit though:
I love all types of genre apart from Rock and Heavy Metal as it’s too noisy and loud for me. However, and ironically, Livin On A Prayer from Bon Jovi and Teenagers from MCR make me vibe haha.
I love all music except country, and I've never wanted to listen to country so I don't know the names of any song.
